I think Paul figured out the picking part.
I was at that clinic. Remember it like it was yesterday

That's awesome. Wish I was there but hey Mark didn't anyone tell you the 80's have been over for a long time. You probably get that a lot huh. Bad joke but the hair Mark, come on buddy.

Nice! is there more of this?
I was born in Greensburg. Holy shit... never knew he grew up there. Wow
Awesome
That was the best clinic I’ve ever seen.
My very first concert was Ozzy with Randy on the Diary tour at the LA arena 81’. I started playing soon after. But I must have a learning disability.
Paul is so cool. He got to have personal interactions with 2 of my favorite guitar players. He got to talk to Rhoads personally and then watch him play just a few feet away. Then years later got to meet, hang out with and give lessons to a pre-KFC Bucket hat wearing Brian Carrol. After all these years Paul is still the awesome and fun to watch and listen to guy he's always been
It's cool to see someone from my hometown who made it big in the guitar world....I knew people who used to interact with Paul...small world man

That’s freakin cool dude
enjoy listening to the clinic on youtube with Randy, I do not think the one on youtube is the session Paul attended.
I love Paul Gilbert, and his playing is top-notch. If Buckethead says he's great, then you know that man can play..!

I wouldn't bother comparing their technique (probably pointless) but Big B is much more creative. His soul is just unmatchable.

Paul, you’re an EXTREMELY lucky person to have been able to go to a Randy Rhoads guitar clinic, and actually get to ask a question to the master!!!🙏🎸
