It is what it is at that point. Live with the results. The clippers had five years (more like 4 years) of being contenders. I mean, back when the trade happened, you do the trade 10/10 times. There was no guarantee that Shai would have turned out the way he is now if he stayed on the Clippers. The Clippers got Kawhi (FMVP) and PG (3rd in Regular Season MVP voting) in their primes. If the second apron wasn't a thing, I'm sure they would have been more willing to give PG exactly what he wanted. The clippers opted for flexibility with the new CBA. Which I think is the second best option. The best being PG staying.

My agent at the time was like “Fuck no you better ask for $1.5M” I played overseas for a couple years never touched the NBA or G- League for the fact that I wasn’t good enough lol. brother yall don’t understand that NBA deals are like regular jobs to us. I don’t care about the Clippers or the 76ers, but you said that you would bring a title to the Clippers after they gave up a lot to get you and banked on you. I personally don't think Paul George is a max player but I know he will get the max. That being said, even I think Paul George got done dirty here. If what he said was true then LAC should have given him the no trade clause.

@@_fredo8 You not wrong but Kawhi already signed and Paul George hadn't yet. Perhaps LAC was okay with losing him for nothing, I don't know but I was under the impression that LAC wanted to keep these 2 together since they gave up so much for them.

You’re forgetting that taxes will take at least half of that depending what state your in and the income of that state and you still have to pay your agent. He still will get millions but pg is an all star player. Can’t blame him for wanting more.
