Her story is similar to mine. When my husband passed, I basically became a shut-in for 3 and a half years. I couldn't walk up 5 stair steps without getting out of breath. I was severely lost and depressed without my soul mate. I've always had a sugar addiction and bad health, but it got really bad. I turned to food as comfort. My health got so bad I thought I was truly dying. With several Dr's. Tests. Everything checked out. I prayed to God to help me get out of my deep depression and anxiety and to help me gain my health. I literally felt no joy anymore. And that day, after praying to God to pull me out of my dark pit, I felt I was in. Dr. Berry showed up on my utube. That was back in 2021. I started ketovore, keto, carnivore. I had no idea how big of a sugar addiction I have. So, from 2021 to 2024, I've lost 75 lbs. I've come off all my prescription meds except thyroid meds. It's so amazing how much I've healed. I started hiking, and at first, I would throw up every half mile. Now I'm hiking mountains, and I feel so great. My depression and anxiety gone. Reflux gone, lymphadema in my leg for over 25 years gone. Stage 3 kidney disease is gone. I try to convince people to try carnivore. Now I'm just trying to just be a good example, hoping people will see my progress and want to join me on my healing journey. Dr. Ken Berry, I believed, saved my life. Thank you for doing the documentary on healing humanity.

Dr. Berry's proper human diet video was a game-changer for me also! He is doing so much good in the world. That video helped give me the courage to embrace a meat-based, healthy diet and throw off carbs and sugar. I will always be grateful.

Great story. There were many times I thought I would lose my wife. after one year of me doing carnivore to try to be an example for her, I finally convinced my wife to do carnivore. She halted her rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, alcohol addiction, depression, anxiety, reflux, chronic fatigue. Her inflammatory markers were normal for first time in 6 years crp 7 to 0.3. Her anemia reversed for the first time in 6 years, hemoglobin from 8 to 12.5. I had tears of joy she finally started healeing her body.

God bless you Patty, I am a 68 year young woman just committing to a carnivore diet after years of going back and forth and watching thousands of testimonies. I saw your story, and I was so inspired. I laughed and cried because your story is so similar to mine, except it was my baby brother that I lost. I also want to spread hope, it is my mantra in life, and I am beginning to believe it is God's way of using me. I want to be an inspiration for my adult son who recently started depression and anxiety medications. I want him to understand how starting a carnivore diet will help him and get him off medications. I too want to inspire others and my 4 children and 6 grandchildren. I spread the word at work all the time with my patients in the Behavioral Health field. I work in methadone maintenance, so you can understand how this can help heal my patients. Thank you for sharing your story, and a virtual hug from me. Now I get most of my joy from ordering meat, and giving glory to God always. I hope to get off my blood pressure medications and inspire all who see my progress, Again, thank you!! Even my puppy is carnivore always!

WOW. It amazes me how so many of the stories are so similar. For me...a friend tragically died and my mother passed from cancer all within a two month time frame. I was depressed and let myself go and ballooned up to over 266 lbs. I too said a PRAYER! And shortly thereafter got the same answer. WOW!!!! The Proper human diet. I am 55 and have had weight problems my whole life. Defiantly addicted to sugar and processed food. So I decided to give it a try. It was not easy at first but....... OMG.......now I have officially lost over 70 lbs. Now at 194.3. With that said I just want to say God is at work. And its amazing. I am so grateful, beyond measure, for God providing me answers. Kerry and Patty you are inspirations!!!! You are changing lives. And we are all a part of this amazing journey.

To Patty -- I'm so sorry you lost your husband. I've never been married, but I can imagine that losing your life companion of nearly 40 years is devastating. My mother was totally devastated after a heart attack took my father when he was 52 years old and I was 16. She had lost hope, and both she and my father had suffered from alcohol addiction on top of other health issues. She died two years later, when she was 50 years old. I wish they, and I, had known about the proper human diet, which might have saved their lives. I went through nearly 5 decades of destructive eating before discovering the Carnivore diet two years ago. I am grateful for its benefits. I'm so glad you found a healthy way to eat and have some loving support from your children. I am with you all the way in wanting so much for all of us to feel a sense of hope and a better world. May God protect and bless you.

I lost my sister yesterday on her 62nd birthday after a long battle with diabetes and kidney failure. Lost a brother to diabetes and another brother from heart disease. I am the only one left now and I have a 7 year old son who thinks I am Superman. I have made so many bad choices in my life. 100 pounds overweight and diagnosed with diabetes myself. I have been ketovore almost 2 months straight now and the difference is amazing. It's still a struggle, I love food and find myself battling cravings, but I know what is at stake. And truthfully, this way of eating is much more satisfying than the old low calorie/low fat diet that I was always told was the way to stay healthy.

That said - I've been on the carnivore diet for about 5 months, more or less - and I think it's helped me cope with the events of the past three months! My husband ended up going to the hospital the 3rd week in January. He's home now, with home health care assisting with dressing changes and monitoring his recovery. Meanwhile my youngest brother is on hospice, given 1-6 months - and I'm trying to go see him while I can. I'm afraid this year is going to be a difficult one, for many reasons - and I thank you for doing your part to help others find a better way!

My husband passed on 12/30/23. I understand too well how you feel. I tried so hard to get my husband to follow this woe with me so he'd be able to get off his meds . He just trusted his doctors so that he wouldn't let me help him. I felt so bad that I couldn't reach him that I couldn't eat for days after his passing. Then I started making myself eat omad. I saw a interview where Dr Berry said something like "how can you convince somebody that you are a successful salesperson if you are not looking or dressing the part. That made me realize that even though I knew this woe worked I needed to show people rather than tell them. So now I'm just taking care of myself and maybe in a year or so someone may see me and ask what did I do. I did tell my 2 grown children that I am carnivore and I will not be cooking anything but meat abd they are welcome to eat what I cook but there wouldn't be any sides. I also felt like I was going into a deep depression after my husband passed so I used those early days to fast and pray. It really helps. I still only eat omad. I don't know how much weight I've lost these 4 months because I didn't weigh. But my highest weight before he passed was 369 pounds now I weigh 314 pounds. I had gotten down to 285 around 2019 but started going weight back during the lock down.

I finally came out of the "darkness" five years after he was gone. I was not deeply depressed, but depressed none the less. I had my kids and grandkids to keep my head above water at that time. I did the keto diet about a year and a half ago, and lost 60#. Unfortunately, I lost something, and gained it all back. I am now, tomorrow, starting carnivore. This is what I do. Just tell people about my before and after. Some people get it and some people don't. You can always catch someone that is looking :-)

God bless you Patty. I hope i get to the place you are. I lost my husband of 52 years a year ago. 😢 I found carnivore about a month ago. I'm hoping to see some results soon. I'm not overweight (maybe 10 pounds) but need to feel better.

Trust me, at 6 weeks, I felt so much better, and at 90 days, I was healing from so many things! You'll feel it, then you'll start to see bloodwork numbers getting better & better as your health improves. I'm so proud of you!

Hi Kerry 👋 I'm a new subscriber. I haven't heard alot about chicken and pork, are these allowed? I came across your channel and I new that Wisconsin accent! I am also from Wisconsin. You and your beautiful family are an inspiration to me. I am on day 3 of carnivore. Thank you for all you do ❤❤🙏

ALL meat is allowed! And all seafood! I eat mostly beef, bison, lamb, bacon, pork belly. I do eat salmon, cod, sardines occasionally. I also eat eggs, which I love!

Pork and chicken allowed but many report they don't feel as well as when eating predominately beef.

Fellow Wisconsin resident here 👋🙂 welcome to the carnivore crew! I've learned all meats are good, but that red meat is the highest in nutrients to thrive on. Best wishes to you on your journey! 🏃‍♀️🎉✨️

I appreciate letting folks tell their talk, but I suggest guiding with questions. It’s nice to have a more conversational podcast anyway. I absolutely LOVE testimonials-keeps my focus on the WHY. That’s why I always direct ppl to Dr. Baker’s podcast channel bc he posts success stories every weekday.

Ok, I can do that, but it would be terribly boring, I'm afraid, because I honestly only drink water and I only use my air fryer to make steaks. That's it. ❤️ Super simple. My fridge only contains steaks and we have a water purifier, and I love it. 😊 Maybe I can make that one of my first videos. Keeping it super short will help me with "cutting my teeth" in the video making category, too. 😁

Brandon, I'm gonna assume you're a guy...If I can make a helpful suggestion...read the book "The Power Of A Praying Husband" by Stormie O'Martian and read 1 chapter every day and at the end of each chapter is a written prayer for your future wife (whoever and wherever she is). Years ago, I started praying for my kids & their future spouses when the boys were very young. (The Power Of A Praying Parent), and I prayed for 3 months to meet my husband Lee. I made a list of things that were excellent and important to me and what were "deal breakers" and Lee met & exceeded my list. In The Power Of A Praying Wife, I prayed for his health, relationships, career, finances, etc. (I frequently prayed for Lee's raises.) Who wouldn't want your future spouse's prayers over/for you? 💗♥️ 🥰

Kelly Hogan (My Zero Carb Life) ran into that very same issue. Building up your healthy bone mass and muscle tone is part of your healing, as well as healing your hormones, etc.. Make sure that you're getting enough fat, too. I highly recommend doing weekly measurements with a tape measure and track your progress in inches. The fat could come off while building muscle and healing your body. The changes might show in inches before the scale shows it. 😊
