Patti Smith, "Punk Rock's Poet Laureate" became a fixture on NYC's CBGB's scene in the mid-late 1970's alongside Andy Warhol, Basquiat, Talking Heads, Blondie, Ramones, Tom Verlaine/Television.
"Dancing Barefoot" is from her 1979 Album "Wave" and still gives me goosebumps with its smoldering beauty. ‪@pattismith‬ She continues to blaze a path all her own to this day.
