My Grandma passed today, and she used to sing this song to me as a kid. I hadn’t heard her sing it in years, but it makes me think of how much she loved and what an amazing lady she is.

Wonderful to hear this song my mother sang to be many, many years ago. I am 77 and it seems like only yesterday.

And my mama used to sing it to me years and years ago. And now the tears are flowing fast and hard. I miss you mama. I miss you every day I wake. 😢

my mum used to sing it to me too ,have you ever watched the real old film ,Going My Way with bing crosby when he sings it to the priest , i'm 71 and it still makes me cry , if youv'e never seen it , get a nice bottle of wine and a few pickies , and watch it on your own , it's a lovely film ,funny in places ,but you will need tissues : haha please watch it Sheri (promise) haha x

Mom died at 92 in 2013. She had a lovely voice sang this and Whisering Hope. I am sure we will sing with them again. God Bless from Ireland.

My granny used to sing this to me every evening before I went to sleep, I intend to do the same for my children.
