I agree with you 100% about church singers. LIVING LEGEND Ms. Patti 'BADASS' Labelle, in her prime (I'd say all the way to her mid 60's) was an untouchable vocal beast. No other singer (except for Fantasia) male/female, from any era, performed like Patti Labelle. She not only hears the music, she FEELS the music.

1991 was around the time I was born.. I would see her 18 years later for the first time and have seen her probably half a dozen times since. Debbie still tours with Patti if I’m not mistaken! I would have killed to have been able to have seen her during the Burnin’ era!

This when Patti got known on a mainstream level for her electrifying performances and voice this was the first concert I ever bought on video and I never looked back, yes she got her mainstream Props mid 80s but 90s was her prime years live and recording , hit after hit'

This was the first tour I saw of Patti’s and it was just incredible. This whole concert is worth watching if you get the chance! I’m going to see her in December. Can’t wait!
