@@LutherLaBelle this is basic vocal training, and easily researchable on Google. Just because YOU prefer that I not use a term doesn’t make it any less correct. Policing people on using basic terminology is weird. Relax, we’re all here to enjoy her voice in whatever way we describe it.

We’re all enjoying her voice, irregardless of what way anybody chooses to describe it; instead you’re choosing to police people on words. That’s an extremely narrow view of this. She’s used ear monitors now. I believe that is what is helping ms Patti hit certain notes she can hear herself better.
