Human migration isn’t due to tectonics, it’s just regular walking, sometimes with the help of ice bridges during the ice ages. At most the continents have only moved about 9 miles during human history, I.e. 2-5 cm a year

More technically, ice ages created land bridges by lowering the sea level. Tended to be a better way to travel than just using ice.

It does gloss a bit over what was going on with the aztecs and incans and the whole american colonization, but that's fine. What I'm disappointed is in the fact that it skips my favourite part of Spanish history: that one time the French went "Hey, guys, can we march our army through your country to attacks Portugal?" Spain said yes and the French decided to just park their army in Spain and take us over. For like 2 years before the Spanish kicked them out.

4:24 Fun fact: Someone made a-song/music using the “The Sun Is A Deadly Lazer” line a LONG time ago, and it’s actually pretty good (in my opinion), though it could use a bit of a remastering if I’m being honest here, and I think all/some of the people who have also listened to it would agree with me. Edit: After posting this comment, I’m now realizing that this video is 9 months old (which means you might not even seen/acknowledge this comment), but what I said was true, so all I can do is hope you see it.

I hate to say this Patterrz, but before this guy there use to be Brainpop in the 2000s, and that site use to teach me a lot more stuff and it was fully animated, and it kept my attention throughout the entire thing. it wasn't crazy editing or none of that stuff like this guy did, it went at a nice pace and it didn't feel slow or gone too fast, and it was informative just enough about that certain subject, they also recommended other videos if you wanted to learn more about a specific subject. Which is how I learned film and tv shows through one brainpop video. So before 2016, Brainpop use to be the shit I use to watch back in middle school. And before that, KZread for me was where it was made for entertainment, not really education. And before KZread it was VHS and DVD players with CRT small TVs to learn in school, based on what the teacher was teaching taht day. And yes, they did have projectors, but it was hooked up via VGA and had a separate speakers inside th projector for sound.

Fun viking history fact: The vikings kept mostly if not only white slaves (since there were mostly just white folks around), and sometimes the slave could earn their freedom. The vikings cared a lot about honor and strength and that jazz. Well at some point, all the slaves were freed and after some generations, it was almost impossible to tell who had descended from slaves and who had not. Skip to today, it is especially hard to tell, no surprise I remember learning about this a while ago and found it intriguing since i am a norseman, so might have gotten something wrong or explained something wrong, but it was something like this

8:23 Actually, YHWH (god of Christianity) was one of many in a previous religion called Yahwism. At some point, he was extracted, placed at the head of a new religion, his female consort erased outright and the other gods of his prior religion recast as demons. And the new creation myth went like 'Humans were perfect but then some woman fucked up' (original sin, Adam & Eve) So Christianity was and still is a tool of autocracy and sexism.
