I use google maps. That’s where the link in the description comes for the location.

8:00 I heard the same about the Philippines. There can be less initiative to open a unique business because if you are successful you will have many copycats taking your profit away. Also less initiative because your entire family wants your money for doing nothing and they will have no initiative to work if they don't have to.

My opinion is we just have to wait and see. I think the intent was different than what many youtubers are creating. I don't believe the Thai Gov't would chance a mass exodus of retirees to other countries. Even my Thai lawyer told me, retirees were over thinking this. So basically if you're like me; average guy, probably bringing in less than 1 million baht a year from abroad, from a country that probably has tax treaties like the UK or USA, Then most likely you won't have a problem. The original intent was wealthy Thai Nationals bringing in millions of Dollars from overseas. KZreadr content creator started putting out there "what if" questions. Which created all of these questions. Definitely not very responsible. I hope this helps.
