Geoff, you should have seen the state of that water in the late 80s. Like a sewer. I didn't even want to walk in it to our tour boat. There's been a lot of improvement since then.

Looking well chilled guys. Coming out on the 29th Geoff, will have to bump into you for a Chang or 2. What's the best beer bars at the moment?, cheap? and are you doing a party night like we had at Pandoras last year this trip?

Manicure or pedicure on the beach is doable. A massage on the beach, other than foot or shoulder is rather problematic. BTW, was in a similar position on that beach in April but just opposite Soi 1. The various snacks and Chang was a real treat.

Last time I eat some of those prawns brought from the beach vendors I got food poisoning and was do bad I got admitted to. Pattaya Memorial hospital and puck on a drip

Instead of shouting 'excume me,' you can shout Pee Kap or Nong Kap - depending on age of person and status. Pee is used to address people in the same generation as you but slightly older. Nong is used to address people in the same generation as you but slightly younger PLUS ALL SERVICE STAFF. If service staff are same age or older than me, I use Pee. Khaaw thoht kap = excuse me if you want to use that instead.

A Chang taste more and more like a Heineken and looks like it too. Heineken is, to us Belgians ( can't not speak for every Belgian) not a beer, just water with a strange taste :-) I do prefer Leo when we are in Thailand.
