PatsyDanielsLacker, Memphis Mafia Wife (T) Last Interview about how she knew friend, Elvis Presley

Ойын-сауық

My mom, Patsy Daniels Lacker, was a member of Elvis Presley's Inner Circle. She was married to my father Marty Lacker, one of the long-time members of the Memphis Mafia and co-best man at Elvis Presley's wedding. She was very shy about talking on camera so the video is short and you will see her rubbing her arm quite a lot to soother her nerves as she talked. :-) Unfortunately, although we did not know it at the time, Patsy was ill and was shortly there-after diagnosed with a very aggressive cancer. Patsy died in October of 2019. We lost our beloved mother, our friend, our Nana and our G.G. Our lives have been changed forever, but we wanted everyone to get to hear how she became to be part of the Elvis Presley world. We love you Mama, and this is dedicated to you--our angel.

After watching the MMK & EFM videos it led me to you. Elvis chose his circle wisely. It seems he had some very kind and loving, loyal people in his circle. You and your family included. Thank you for sharing. I have loved Elvis my entire life as far as I can remember. I was very young, I started school at 5 and long before I started school I would sit and listen to Elvis albums and watch his movies. I finally got to see him in Asheville in ‘75. I can’t tell you how much each of y’all’s stories have blessed me and seeing the people you are makes it more special because each of you are so kind. I’m so sorry for the loss of your mom AND dad. My condolences.Thank you again and many blessings!

The fellow had a few too many drinks and began to get a little carried away with the flirtations and became a bit belligerent, then it was noticed he had a gun under his jacket...conductor was called and the guy was forcefully removed from the train at the next stop. So. What happened on the train? Since Priscilla went with you, I assume it had something to do with her. It isn't nice to tease people like that. Bring up a subject you KNOW everyone is drooling to hear about....and then not discuss it. Where are your Southern manners?!

Georgia, I hope your comment is tongue in cheek. ;-) I've told the story on my LIVE sessions many times, but because this video was a tribute to my mom I didn't think the Priscilla story that important, especially since my mom had no comment on it, but since it keeps being asked about it was simply about his ex-wife having an overly flirtatious interaction with a man on the other side of the train aisle, he had been drinking a bit and took her responses and attention and giggles as an opportunity to try to take the flirtations further and someone spotted a gun in his waist band and called the conductor....the guy ended up being an off duty railroad cop and was forcefully escorted off the train at the next stop.

@@thememphismafia83 All my remarks are tongue in cheek. I'm a die hard Elvis fan. And, a Priscilla fan, too! As beautiful as she was back then, I'm surprised that Elvis let her go. There was another story that Villa had an affair with Sonny West. All he will say is that he " will not speak to her". So, who knows. It's really none of my business, whatever happened. They say Elvis liked the ladies. And, apparently Cilla was somewhat if a flirt, as well. That's none of my business either. Thank you for your reply. Please know, I meant no disrespect to your mamma. 💕

Sorry, but this was the most uninteresting and boring interview on KZread. I'm sure she is a nice lady, but this interview comes off as if she's not interested, especially when the train ride to Knoxville came up.

You bet she was a nice lady. And I'm sorry if you were bored, but she died of cancer not very long after that, so you can speak your mind about it not entertaining you, but it was a rare first hand interview and she did the best she could. I'd rather sit and listen to my mother speak in this over and over than to here some fake pack of over-embellished lies and sensationalism.
