yeah absolutely I’ve been married for 32years I was 24 and she was 20. She got cancer in 2020 I was totally lost without her. She took a major hit the treatment was horrible for her. I could do nothing to change any thing so I felt helpless. I miss her everyday. Mothers are the glue that holds everyone together.. seeing this makes me miss her even more I come to this page all the time just to have that nostalgia

Well, there was a time when a lot of popular music was banned from airplay in the old USSR, so no wonder you never had a chance to be exposed to Patsy Cline's music. Sorry that you missed out then, but maybe you're more able to appreciate it now, and that's the important thing. It's still heartbreaking that Patsy Cline died so young, and somehow this song is the most haunting song she ever recorded. Thanks to the engineering gods for the invention of recording music of all genres, and devices to listen to it on. Thanks to that, Ms. Cline's unearthly beautiful voice was able to be made immortal, the only fortunate thing to come out of such a tragic loss.

Working in a breakfast joint in Austin the 80s, we listened to a lot of good music. But every morning when the crowd started getting bigger the head waitress would put on a tape of all of these songs. Every day. Finally somebody asked why Patsy was getting the heavy rotation when there was so much good music to play. Jill, the head waitress, explained that it was simple: when Patsy was playing, the tips were always twice as good. None of us ever asked again.

Morten Muggerud, " ... enjoying this collection ... " I hope now that you have gained some appreciation for at least the spirit of country music, if not all of the sounds, you have also listened to Marty Robbins' "El Paso". There are so many different styles all lumped together under the genre's label "Country Music" that it's easy to find a few songs you'll like, even if the rest really turn you off. Bein' older now helps, too. If you'd like suggestions for others you might like, let me know.

My Mother use to play Patsy Cline, while holding me on her hip, and dance with me, when I was about 5 year's old. Mother had quite a voice herself, so every time she would find a place with good acoustics, she'd belt out Patsy Cline lyrics in acapella, such as "I Fall to Pieces", "Crazy", and "Sweet Dreams". Those moments of her, are even more precious, now that she's passed-on. Now, I'm not a country music fan, but I never thought Patsy Cline was anything other than an exceptional singer. I only wish the recording technology had been better to capture her voice more accurately. As I'm here listening and writing this little note, "Sweet Dreams" and "Crazy" are playing ― Now, Every time someone speaks your name - I fall to pieces and I'm here in tears. "I fall to pieces, Each time someone speaks your name, I fall to pieces, Time only adds to the blame ...." My God, what a voice... !!!

I was 8yrs old when Patsy passed away. I was living in Frankfurt, Germany - near the army base. Walking home it started to rain and I ducked into a snackbar/diner. AFRTS (you know she was huge within the military - young guys far from home) was playing her songs all day & giving the little information about how she died over & over again. As a kid, I wasn't much of a music fan, but I recognized most of her songs. Been a fan ever since.

It was so sad and when Loretta Lynn found out she got depressed and almost had a nervous breakdown they were best friends. Loretta is the Queen of Country but she said so is my best friend Patsy Cline. I love both of those ladies. Now that's what you call real country music. 💯💕💞

My Grandmother the angel she was would play this album all the time when i was just a little girl. And she was the best Grandmother a girl could ask for and she made my childhood beautiful and happy and memorable she made me feel cherished and loved protected she was an angel on earth and so now when im hurting feeling so alone, or grieving deaths of loved ones grieving any tragic circumstance in mypast and current life I listen to this record and i cry and and i remember her and the beautiful memories and th the Beautiful music helps to heal me when I so desperately need it and I'm so thankful that Patsy Cline existed and was a singer because without this album I don't know what I would do when I'm feeling so alone and hopeless. Her words and her voice are therapy to my heart and soul!

I'm not a big country music fan, but I'm happy that my dad introduced me to this wonderful woman's voice. I was only a wee lad and he constantly played Patsy's music along with Jim Reeves who I really like as well. It's 2022 now, I'm 66 and I listen to these 2 great country artists all the time thanks to my amazing father. He is no longer with us, but this music reminds me so much of him. I love you dad and I miss you so much, but I'm still listening to your 2 favourite artists.
