I’m 51 and love it. Key for me is a very hydrated base, very light application of the foundation. Only used the powder in tzone. I do have pretty nice skin but at 51 I have lines/wrinkles. For me it is a very natural, flattering product.

I like my summer shade so much, I’m considering ordering a winter shade now too. So nice for travel as well.

I really love it so far! I originally thought it was for an combo/oilier skin according to Sephora and I’m very dry. It stayed a full 16 hrs on me and held up extremely well. I didn’t have any issues and it set well with the powder. Everything laid well over it too, and it did great with setting spray. I’m reviewing it soon; so I’m still testing it to make sure. But so far 😊 Great review my friend💖

I couldnt concentrate on the foundatiom because your highlight and blush combo just looked so darn healthy! The glow (i think from the mac mineralize product?) Looks soo good on you.

I love how honest you are! I bought same shade and initially I loved how it looked. After wearing all day, I noticed the same of it not being flexible and accentuated my pores that I honestly didn’t realize I had and texture as well. :-( so dissatisfied unfortunately

Personally I’ve tried it once it came at Sephora last Friday and I’ve tried it a few times with different primers. I genuinely loved the foundation. I have extremely dry skin and I hate the feeling of too much on my skin, and this is very sheer but very buildable. I feel in love! Maybe it’s just different for everyone’s skin

I'm 68 and retired. Not doing a full face very often, but when I do, it's Wayne Goss foundation and powder. I'm on Beautylish right now ordering his bright azalea blush with a free brush !!

I haven't used this foundation but maybe using a setting spray will help it settle more into the skin and make it look good

I'd have thought Patrick Ta would've killed it with foundation and powder. I was so hoping this would be something out of this world good. Oh well that's just $50 I can keep.

I have normal skin a little combo in the summer but pretty normal otherwise. I absolutely love this foundation, I would say this is not good for dry skin. It leans more matte which is why he says to hydrate really well before. But I love using my fingers. It melts so nicely and wears so well for me.

I’m dry to normal skin. I only wore it for about an hour and thought it was just ok. I thought it set into my face well but I honestly could do without it. I’m going to do a longer wear test to make a final decision though!

Love the review! Trying 2 decide lol I really like the KVD good apple… how does Patrick’s measure up the KVD? Better or worse or kinda alike lol sorry I’m just trying to decide on a new foundation without having to buy a few expensive foundations & turn around & return them. I trust your opinion 100% so I’m hoping u can help .

Dang I have dry skin and texture and wore it all day and it looked dewy and nice! It was a little dry looking at first but I didn't feel it was patchy or bad. Settled into the skin nicely throughout the day. That's disappointing people aren't liking it. :( I used a sponge and made sure to prep my skin well the night before. I think it performs better when the skin is hydrated. I used a powder puff for the powder and felt like it looked nice! I think the foundation builds well too. I was more happy with the coverage when I added another layer. Hopefully you like it more when you figure out other techniques that work for you!

I have combo acne prone skin and I didn’t love this foundation either. I think it is better for people without acne/texture. It was not smoothing and it didn’t look very natural on my skin, especially over acne. I also found the coverage to be excellent initially, but faded a few minutes after application. I tried the powder on half my face only and oddly enough, that side got more oily during the day! I’m not going to give up on it yet, but I have other foundations that make my skin look much more perfected.

As an extremely dry skinned girlie this definitely doesn't sound like it's for me 🥲 such a shame, I'm a huge fan of PT and his cream powder contour and blush duos are my holy grail!! I was so excited for this launch but looks like I'll be sticking with salt new york and glossier for my cream base product needs (side note i love using the glossier stretch concealer as a light coverage cream foundation, was hoping PT would be similar)

I got this after seeing so many raves online and it was terrible for me over the small amount of texture (larger pores) I have on my lower cheeks. It emphasized any tiny bit of texture and agree it moved/separated. I came on KZread to see if I was applying wrong or going crazy. THANK YOU for an actual honest review. I think too many social media makeup people now just want to stay on the PR list and give everything a rave.

So seeing your comment is making me rethink buying it now and spending that $53 bucks on a different product. So I appreciate it. I have dry skin so I don’t think it will work for me, but at that price Id rather just buy a luxury foundation like Dior or Pat McGrath, as Patrick Ta isn’t exactly luxury to be at that price…

good to know. i have deep smile lines and most of my foundations settle except my NARS and Estee Lauder so i'll be passing on this!!

Is this shade neutral ? Because it looks a little bit pink

I have textured skin with lots of scarring so I know for a fact this foundation is not for me. I haven't found a cream foundation that does work for my skin. Somethings just aren't meant for me and I'm okay with that. Complexion wise I'm most interested in the upcoming Haus Labs foundation and powder coming this week. I have high hopes that those are gonna be nice. Hope to see a review from you on those too.

You can get Evening Primrose 1300mg . Looks like fish oil pill. They even out hormones can take 3 a day. Helped me in menopause

I would’ve loved to seen half of your face the new Patrick Ta and the other half the Good Apple because most of us have that👏👏👏.. Yes it’s $52 which is pricey however you’re getting a little bit more foundation than the KVD and your getting a setting powder, I like to have the two products and one compact.. The unfortunate side is if this is a foundation that you use regularly… You’re going to run out of the foundation and have a large compact of just powder.. that’s the downside to duo products.

Hmmm, this was something I actually kinda thought may be cool, but now I'm not sure, I have very dry skin and the fair shades don't seem to go fair enough and I'm not sure how I feel about the powder beeing so much lighter, I like my powder in my shade... I really like the concept of it, I thought it would be fun for travel.

This isnt flattering on me unfortunately.It settled into my fine lines and my smile lines.I have a combination skin and the powder emphasizes dry textures even after exfoliating and using with or without my tatcha primer.The new chanel and hourglass foundations doesnt do that to me.I applied it using a brush,a beautyblender and even my fingers! I just cant with this one.My fuzzy hairs are noticeable as well...and now my wallet feels a lil lighter 🤨 thanks for your review Morgan.Eventhough it didnt work for me,i still enjoyed watching you 👋 and you are still looking pretty as always 💛

Everyone I've seen that had dry skin and tried this, it looked insanely cakey and emphasized everything, settled in lines etc etc. Easy pass for me!

Yeah. I have normal skin and loved it. However, I had a dry patch & saw it cling & reveal the texture. Didn't like that.

While I love & appreciate you & your honesty in your videos, no matter who the brand is (as it should be!), I think this Patrick Ta cream foundation/powder duo is going to be highly personal when it comes to if someone likes it or not. I got it & do like it thus far. The powder looks lighter in pan than what it actually applies. I’ll be curious to see if your opinion is still the same down the road! I was waiting to see your review. I watched another review and she (Emily from Emily’s makeup bag) had the same issue. It broke up so bad around her mouth. She planned to to wear it all day. She ended up wearing it for about 6 hours (I think) at home in AC. She had plans to go out with friends and she said she could not wear it out looking like it did. Gonna have to pass on this one. SO… I placed an order for the new hourglass foundation based on your review and other reviews. I’m excited to get it and glad I waited for your review before ordering the PT.

The KVD is 10g as you stated, the Patrick Ta is 12. You were saying that we get less product with the Patrick Ta and we’re actually getting 2g more than the KVD.. Only now am I realizing that we do not get much product in the KVD good apple🤔.. honestly, I never paid attention even though it is a cream which does blend out beautifully and just keeps blending….❤️. Wow Wayne Goss is really giving us a lot of product and I want to try his desperately… however I don’t want to buy it online because there’s only a handful of shades.😑 I would love to see Wayne get into Sephora.. it would just make things so much easier because complexion products are difficult to color match online (I am the worst with returns… Going to the post office it’s just not something I do so waste my money…a lot 🤫) 😬

I’m confused because the Sephora website says the cream in the Patrick Ta duo is 9 grams? So your getting less foundation than the KVD. But your getting more product overall because it has the 4 grams of powder

@@SamanthaD89 I think Sephora might be wrong in the description with a 9 g equals Morgan was reading 12g from the back of the packaging🤪. I want to try the Patrick Ta however in reality the foundation will go quickly and then you’ll be stuck with a large pallet of just powder🤷‍♀️. I have the KVD Good Apple and it is a fantastic full coverage foundation. I use it sparingly because you can just see the amount of product diminishing right in front of your eyes with every swipe of the cream…. if I used it regularly it wouldn’t last at all.

I was looking at this , SF tint and the gurlain glow foundation is on sale and they have my color I have been lusting over it should I get it?? It's 45$ also all the syncro skin foundations tint luminess vesion powder , powder foundation and the primer ? Do u think I should get the gurlain and the syncro skin lumi version 35$ ? I can't make my mind up. O lawless mini baby 15$ and mini artist couture nudes 20$ I wish the lawless glam mini was the one on sale that's the one I really want compare to baby.
