Such a down to earth kind of guy! He really has left his mark on the history of tv shows! But I think Dallas will forever be his best role and maybe his most favorite one since that’s how he met his best friends Linda Gray and Larry Hagman! On a side note I loved the Dallas moment in family guy cause I honestly forgot about that episode but after just binge watching Dallas recently with my mother that grew up watching Dallas we both enjoyed seeing it since it was two generations both enjoying a series so much that when we just turned on tbs that was playing family guy that episode came on and we both went hysterical!

There aren’t many as down to earth as this man, doesn’t take himself seriously at all, the man oozes charisma.

Never saw Dallas. Discovered Patrick 2023.

I had never heard of this actor or the series Step by Step. But looking on Max for a comedy series to watch in 2024 lol, I found Step by Step and I'm laughing a lot! And to my surprise I discovered that the series started in 91, I was a child! The characters are wonderful!🎉

I could never get his name right when I was a kid. I always called him Duffy Ducky, Patty Ducky or Datty Puffy..

How do you keep in such good shape?

Wonder if Duffy had enough clout to have the "Bobby Ewing" character depart Dallas without killing him off, or did HE wish to have him off-ed? (Killing and then having to resurrect him grievously undermined the show, and to a lesser degree its nominal spinoff show KN as well 😞)

He asked them to kill the character off. However the explanation for him returning did damage the show's popularity.
