When Patrick scratched just a little bit in the Newsome issue we found out quickly that Bill has no clue about any of the actual things Newsome has done as Governor and has absolutely no tangible reason to support him.

I have been a Maher fan for a long time but he lost it. It’s disrespectful to not allow your guest to answer. Each time Bill disagreed he interrupted. Bill said I hate people yer without guest and an audience he wouldn’t be famous person flying in a private jet. Why does he want to “save” the planet if he hates people. Bill had a few Biden like moments … losing his edge and probably high or drunk… maybe both. Bill is just to Hollywood that he doesn’t identify with regular folks. The worst interview I have watched. Patrick is a total class act. We need more people to be like Patrick and less like Bill.

PBD has created a fake constraint requiring people to procreate to have purpose in life. Those kids will die just like the rest of us, having them or not fulfills no purpose in life, because we have no clue what the purpose of life is, in fact the idea that we are here for a purpose is completely made up. Word soup, word salad at best... No better than Maher's crusade against people having kids. If you want kids, have them. If you don't, then don't.... PBD is brilliant. About halfway through, he saw the writing on the wall: that he wasn’t going to be allowed to talk without interruption. What did he do? He flipped positions and showed us how Bill should comport himself. He became the host, and a gracious one at that. I don’t think Bill knew that happened because he was enjoying soliloquizing about Bill. It could have been a riveting conversation/debate if Bill had the capacity to STFU for more than 30 seconds.

I think Bill made a decision when he was very young there is probably asked something like "So who is more for progress?" And he found the answer to be Democrat and so now he's just a Democrat. All the "Detail" that he talks about the Democrats being big on? Yeah. He doesn't know what any of those are. And don't forget that the religious upbringing left him a little stifled and his prime was the 1990s so to him Republican still means bible thumper and Democrat means "open-minded" even though he is wrestling with the fact that that has changed every day he himself has not made the change🤦‍♂️ Talk about stuck in your ways!

@mindsigh4 pdb does do that, he'll ask you a question as a way of trying to set you up for the next thing but if you've been doing politics on TV for 30 plus years and have well thought out ideas on the political landscape, you should be able to have more in your bag to be ready to counter that rather than just simply deflect or act disinterested. But as the OP pointed out, Bill Maher seems to have surface level beliefs. 'I like Gavin Newsom because he's a winner. He has nice teeth and nice hair and will deliver victory for the blue team after he smiles and talks and tugs on the bleeding hearts of women all over the country' What's the policy going to be? 'I'm sure it will be great!' Yikes

If Bill is a Libertarian then i too have twin children named Sean and Hannity. I'm Libertarian and Bill is way further out in left field than i am. Libertarian is someone who wants to keep the constitution and amendments from being infringed on while also wanting to shrink the size of the government down to keep corruption and weaponization of our fed from happening. Bill wants gun control and supports someone who is weaponizing our government against opposing politicians. Thats authoritarianism, not libertarian. When it comes to right or left libertarians tend to lean right as well. Out of all the candidates i think Vivek was the closest to being libertarian while also running Republican. If democrats want to win they'd put RFK in. They don't want to because democrats are socialists now and RFK represents one of the truest democrats ive seen in my 30 years of life. There hasnt been a legit democrat in 5 or 6 decades and RFK could very well be the only one we see run in ours.
