I'm getting the permanent spinal cord stimulator implanted on August 15th. I did the week trial and it reduced my pain somewhere around 60%. I didn't know how much it helped until they took it out. Lol.

Im getting the trial next week. Hope it helps. I had mild back pain a year before i got injured at work, mild turned to literally crippling pain for almost 2 years now. Narcotics and injections did nothing

I’m still waiting to get this done. I’m scared it won’t work, I have more joint pain than nerve. It feels like a building has fallen on my spine or I am an accordion, that I am being smashed together. Medicine and injections don’t help anymore. I never wanted screws and bolts in my spine like I do now. What happens if this doesn’t work? We don’t have a plan B in place if it doesn’t. Can you do everything you want if it is put in permanent? Swimming? Playing pool bowling etc? Is there something you can’t do anymore?

Does it still work for you? Did it hurt when they put the trial leads in? Did they put you under anesthesia to put the trial leads in? I'm terrified but I'm so desperate I'm willing to just suck it up & do it.

@@123aesco They Give You A Sedative First. YOU. DONT feel It Going In It Is A Little Painful Afterwards! But No It Did. NOT work For Me , So You Keep In I Belive 7 Days, Then They Pull The It Out. NOT painful! Good Luck. 1😒😒I still Suffer With Chronic Pain. Don't Be Nervous.
