I had the Vertiflex procedure performed about six months ago. To this date, I have not had any improvement with my back issue. I should mention that I am a retired military veteran covered by TriCare insurance. This is the insurance provided for military veterans. TriCare declined to cover the procedure because they stated it is an “unproven” medical procedure. Do your homework before accepting this Procedure.

It's approved for insurance that covers disability and fda approved. Back injections aren't approved for back pain but they do it anyway. Hope it helps but if it's not try a back shot now that spine has decompressed. I read that somewhere. Gl

Hi Mike, I was considering this as everything else to date has not worked out. And I mean every treatment under the sun including a lumbar fusion. Since insurance did not cover the surgery, how much did they hot you up for? Thanks for serving!!!
So what happens to the area above and below where you had the procedure. Isn't this just kicking the can down the road by pushing everything in the other direction. Unless i can get three or four of these things in a row, I am screwed.
I have to fins a Dr near me that does this. I'm in mortal pain. God, I pray my insurance will pay for this... I'm 60 and I can walk to the frobt door if a stroe without looking for a cart. My legs ate tired all the time and I'm super unstable.
