👉 Chief Complaint of the patients: Difficulty in swallowing (Dysphagia) to solids and liquids, associated with weight loss of 10 Kg and chest pain.
Based on the above-mentioned complaint, the necessary test was done, Esophageal manometry and UGI Endoscopy.

UGI endoscopy shown dilated esophagus with fluid residue and resistance at GE junction. Esophageal manometry shown elevated median IRP(20.9) with pan esophageal pressurization indicative of Achalasia Cardia Type 2. After proper evaluation, the patient went through POEM surgery. Post procedure oral gastrograffon was done, no contrast retention was noted. The patient was started on a liquid diet. The patient has been discharged in stable condition, with
advice to follow up on OP basis.
