Love the new pathway. Along with the new flowerbeds it integrates the greenhouse area into its surroundings even more. You certainly have been busy expanding, adding, refurbishing and growing this past season. I/we have certainly enjoyed watching it all happen. Thank you so much. Blessings

Watching these flagstone pathways go in is fun. It really defines an area beautifully. Thinking I need to update my paths and create a beautiful patio space in my garden. Just beautiful! I’d see losing those trees as an opportunity for something new.

I laughed when I saw the hedge trimmers come out for that tomato plant! And I loved seeing the pigs getting fed! Cleaning out the garden at the end of the season isn’t easy but it’s absolutely necessary to be able to sow crops for the next season! The container with the evergreen (loved the floof!) and white pansies was simple yet a beautiful combination! Loved seeing the new pathway starting to take shape. Great video as always! 👌👍👏💕💕💕

I think the Cedar Rapids, Iowa garden centers ought to order lots of their “namesake” bushes for next year!

Ha-ha, that was fun seeing Paul give the pigs their treat, wagging their tails just like happy little doggies! 🤣👍💖

The small critter hole is a shrew. We have them in our yard as well. Don’t worry the cats will get him within the week. When a hole pops up in my yard. I usually have the “gift “ at my door shortly after 😁

I just realized cleanup videos are my favorite. SO satisfying 😅 Don't get me wrong, I love seeing your planting, but I love watching you clear things out. It's satisfying & makes you proud to grow all that, and it's all the more satisfying to clear it out when it's spent.

IF you have to remove the locus tree and the lilac, I think the potager garden is the PERFECT way to blend formality with function. I think it is also the best way to blend the fireplace area into the patio/garden area. I have been excited for you to (one day) redesign this space. Just image looking out your kitchen window and seeing a beautiful potager garden with all the pollinators you love so much. What an ideal way to turn a misfortune into an an opportunity!

I wasn't convinced about the pathway to the Hartley because I thought it was nice to have the clear, simple view with the grass in front. But now that I see the pathway partially put in, OH MY! 😍 Fantastic video all around team! Go GA!

Is anybody else obsessed with the sound of Laura opening and pouring bags of soil or fertilizer? It doesn’t sound the same when I do it in my garden 😂 Also, was that a hornworm on the wood next to melons during the haul segment?

There has to be an alternative to the brown drip… it seems so frustrating to me (and so much work to keep replacing it). The space looks so nice cleaned up!!! I loved this video, so satisfying!

There is a time for everything....you've had a wonderful harvest, and love the breathing room in the vegetable garden. I think a potager would be wonderful!

I think you would love a formal herb garden in the space by the kitchen. While loosing the trees would be very sad, having a herb and veggie garden near your kitchen is the best. You can just walk out your door and pick things for meals. I use so many fresh herbs during the summer and I now have a sunroom that I plan on growing herbs on during the winter.

Exactly! I 100% agree. I think she (and most of us) would really like the herb/potager garden right there by the back door. And imagine the fragrances it would allow.
