This one is very tricky to build in WotR, since you are not full spell progression, which means your spell penetration is going to scale at slower rate. A lot of demons have Spell resistance, so this is a tricky part. If you go all out with spell pen feats, you might find yourself lacking in ranged feats. Really tricky stuff. But there is some hidden OP-ness when you qualify for Loremaster with eldrich archer. You can steal Greater Vital strike, or improved improved critical, which will stack with keen enchant from your arcane pool. Not to mention that if you go with legend mythic path you can level up arcane trickster as well, for some stupid sneak attack damage on shots that fire with hellfire ray combo... We also have perfect strike arcane ability :) Definetly a powerful class, but for me it is a bit too tricky to build correctly, so chose this one with caution :)
A question about this Eldritch Archer subclass, is the bow reach reduced, when compared to a non caster archer? Ps: OK, I just noticed why the hell my EA had a ranged attack reach shorter than other archers... it was because I left the point blaink shot feat constantly activated.
Is it Eldritch to level 2 then wizard and ek at 10? Was hoping for a full build not just starter ☺️

For advanced builds you'll wait at least 2 months. It will take 2000h to make them. I released a lot of videos about leveling on this channel. Check utility guides playlist on the channel homepage.
Why do you need strength for composite longbows?

My question is the opposite, why do I not need strength for other range weapons? I just made a char using this guide, and my damage with all type of bows has a -2 because of my strength...

@@kaltorakh You get your STR back on leveling, with buffs and consumables and with items. I said it a lot of times in the all magus videos(you have a risky way to play with -8 or safe way with 10, and safest way with 13+1 so you can add atribute points to become 14+2). Composite bows scale with STR.

Composite bows allow you to add your strength to the shot but you still use dex for the to-hit roll. This video was not super-clear about that.
Magus' are in a really weird spot in WotR imo. When you just look at the classes what magus does is really unique but then again you look at what you can do with Trickster and Elemental barrage combined idk it just feels like any martial class has a potential to be a better magus than magus and improved criticals you get on top of that just breaks the game. One thing in my mind is i am very curious if Azata zippy magic works with spell-combat.

Magus is OP and it was made for Unfair solo runs. It's the hardest class to play and master. I never tested Azata btw.
