Illusionist Gnome Arcane Bloodline (from standard sorc) is an insane DC arcane caster route. You HAVE to take 20 CHA in the character creation to maximize DC (for insane). Early game there aren't any useful Illusion spells that you can use to contribute in combat with, so Spell Focus: Evocation & Spell Specialization are a must early on (spam missiles, arcs, fireballs and dragon breaths). After that you go for Illusion +1/+2, Spell Penetration (both levels), School Focus: Illusion (from bloodline). Also go for Chaotic Good as it gives best Illusion DC robes in the game. can solo the game on unfair from lvl 4+. Shadow Evocation and Phantasmal Killer are your bread and butter spells late game.

One more thing I forgot to mention earlier, Enchantment seems like a go-to control school, however most dangerous enemies are immune to it (mind-effect immunity). Conjuration has much fewer effects that can control battlefield, but are generally more reliable (Grease, Entanglement, chains of light, vinetrap, glitterdust, a few cloud spells). Boneshatter - NECRO - has amazing utility of setting Exhausted condition, some Evocation spells can double up as control - Sirocco comes to mind.

@@maciejzwolinski2381 Yeah I like the idea of enchantment, but most of those are single target and like you said with the boss immunity. Conjuration is SUCH a good school. I played a witch (modded) and did ice for damage and necro and just wave of fatigued people and then mass suffocated them (which goes 1 step faster if they're already fatigued. I'm stoked about your illusi9n build though. It's the only one I haven't done yet. 🧙‍♂️

@@unsungnpc8918 I have just started gnome arcane bloodline illusionis (as mercenary) on hard difficulty (one below unfair) with spell focus and greater spell focus in illusion magic school. I do not know how it will develop in future, but at the begining this mercenary win the fights for my team (in turn based mode). Color Spray can be finaly useful! My main character is knife master and simply finish unconscious enemies. I hope that later on Rainbow Pattern and Shadow Evocation will do the job.

really searched all of youtube for a specific type of way i wanted the information and content presented, you are the only one that really went through EVERYTHING. I'm all for making fun builds but im also a min maxer, sort of a hybrid lol, and not knowing what perks were important was killing me. I just wish I could find a video about what each and every class was strong/weak in and what each and every class was worth taking dips in and for what and why. Would you be opposed to making a video like that? I'm overwhelmed because I'm finally getting a handle on the classes and perks for pathfinder, played the wotr demo and my mind fried... they literally doubled the classes and races now i'm back to square one as far as WoTR goes haha. but I figure if I can get a handle on pathfinder I should be able to auto pilot for WoTR Also, do you have discord?

Yo hey man! Appreciate the praise. First, I do indeed have discord. It's in the description of my more recent streams I've done. Also, I do have videos for each class (including ones from mods) but there are some archetypes presented not in the base game though I go over those in the end of each vid. Those will talk about what each class does, but they aren't exactly build guides or dip guides. I do think it's something I'd consider doing at some point (I've got a backlog right now and then wrath is coming out very soon) but if you join discord there's a few peeps there including myself that could help with the game for ya!

hello, thanks for your videos they really helped me learn more about the game. recently i was thinking of how to build Jaethal but mostl people either say keep her as inquisitor or switch her into herald caller. so i decided to get into call of the wild mod to get more options but i am still struggling to decide how to build Jaethal because I want to make her some sort of a scythe fighter with big focus on necromancy/dark spells but still keep her as undead who worships Urgathoa. how would build her ?

Normally, I too switch her to herald caller. Unfortunately, the mod makes her stats ideal for dex based ranged combat. Her wis isn't actually that great anymore. However, there's the Undead Lord archetype on Cleric with the mod and it's fantastic 👌 so that'd be my recommendation for a more fun time with her. I find straight ranged combatants boring to play. She will need ranged though cause her dex is ridic with the mod and her str is meh. So no scythes unless you wanna suffer.

@@unsungnpc8918 thank you i will check undead lord also will check oracle since i saw someone in steam forum who said respec Jaethal into oracle. about her bad strength, i think i might just respec all her stats too to boost her strength while reducing other un-needed stats.

@@anoh2689 respec is totally valid haha. You gotta do what's gonna make it the most fun for you. As for oracle, in my let's play, I've been running an oracle mc and they're great for support but my guy never does much to enemies. If you care about that. I also don't have any buffs to summoning.

Quicken true strike + disintegrate Maximize fireball Heightened dominate Extended confusion Empowered scorching ray

One spell I always make sure to have is stinking cloud. It's a great spell that even if it only effects a few its a save every round or skip so good for enabling melee characters

I 100% agree, especially against the fey in endgame
