i completely agree, i was pitching this idea in d2 where you had mf on every character, cuz it was just this much more loot while not really affecting your "clear speed". Now in PoE high end mapping always requires mf character if you wanna be efficient with it

Thanks for sharing! Im also gathering some stuff to make MF build, but with physical conversion instead (I already have a mageblood & a bow with +2 arrows and 700 pdps on current build). Also thanks for your advice to use Kaom's Spirit and amulet, that will help a lot.

Transcendence Ascendant Necro/Champion from BigDaddy which uses Smite and includes the chest/helm/ring you mirrored? :D I'm big armor stacker guy, I play it for 5 leagues so I can instantly tell whats up, but hey maybe I'm wrong :P

It does seem really weird that you can do this and just pull ahead with currency so fast. Makes me curious to try for sure!

Those quivers are super easy to craft. Just takes a bit of currency but it's still way cheaper than buying them from trade :> I bought t2 crit multi, frenzy on kill and dmg while leeching synth quiver for 10 div and then spent probably eh 40? divines crafting all t1s. /edit: Unfortunately MF is just simply better than anything else if you're running juiced maps. Well rounded MF build for 2-3 mirrors will make you so much more currency/h than any giga min maxed stacker.

A lot of ppl don't understand with what I mean with "MF should be removed" - As long as Magic Finders can do the same content as Well-Rounded Builds, yes, I'm absolutely against MF. There was a time where MF was bound to Low Tier maps or Yellow Maps if you had insane Gear, but almost nobody was Farming T16 Magic Find. Builds were terrible compared to these modern PoE times and it was not worth it. So ppl that did NO MF could do guardians and other stuff that was profitable, while Magicfifnders farmed div cards and bubblegum currency in low tier Maps. But in a world where you WANT to try out different builds and you know upfront "no matter how good my build is, a simple magic finder will make more currency per hour" makes it super unrewarding. Ofcourse, its based on your Goals in PoE, if you don't care about currency at all, you won't bother with that mindset. I have a couple of unpopular Opinions but that is totally fine, you don't have to agree. I'd also welcome if GGG would remove Mageblood from the Game, and Headhunter, and Magic find, and couple other things.

How build deals with dot damage? It's omnipresent and having no regen / overleech or other source of reliable recovery sounds rough.

What pantheon's are you using for this build?

There's a lot of people in the comments that don't seem to understand how trade works. Go ahead and remove magic finding / and then buff the "casual" experience (whatever that means). You're still making less. You can't just give everyone more loot and then have it all be the same value as before. That is not how that works at all. You are still playing casually compared to someone playing much more efficiently and you are still going to make substantially less. You make more currency by playing more efficiently - full stop. That applies to every single piece of content in the game. Its kinda like farming ubers or bosses in general. You don't make a well rounded character like most people want to do - you do what people actually farming them do and just one shot them with a build that can do absolutely no other content. They are going 500x faster than you are with your "casual" build and probably on a fraction of a fraction of the budget. You also don't need extreme budget gear to do magic finding so I don't really know what the point of removing magic finding would be in the first place. Tornado shot is probably one of the worst examples of it because it's an attack skill that inherently requires super high gear to feel good. That is just a downside of attack based builds with a few exceptions. Spells don't need this. Some very efficient attack skills don't need this. You work up to tornado shot - you don't start there. That is the ultimate progression of a magic find build where you have already used a previous variant of magic find to get there. Also people are acting like this is new for some reason. Been this way since I can remember. Magic find starters are a very real thing and have been forever. They are not well rounded builds that do everything because that is not anywhere near realistic magic finding. You build up to that like every other build in the game. You will never see a magic find build as a recommended starter from probably any of your favorite content creators or build guides. Because they are not meant to do everything on league start. They are meant to do 1 thing - get more loot from mapping and faster. Like are we supposed to remove scarabs next? What about sextants? Scarabs and sextants give absolutely huge multipliers of loot (we are talking them making 5-10x their value) and every "casual" player I see refuses to use them. I usually dump about 5 divs of investment into a 16 map strategy and make multiples of that back reliably because that is the value of investment. You made your choice by playing casually. You are getting way less loot regardless because you are choosing to. The best way to get more is to stop complaining about it and actually do it yourself. Remove every single additional loot multiplier in the game. You are making less no matter what. You don't just magically make more. This can be applied to practically any game with an economy. Play more - learn from that playing - and then make more.

Exactly what i think! Mostly ppl said " remove magicfind, make game more casual " that jealous with ppl making more currency than they do xD.

I'm going from Hexblast and trying to slowly build into my 'final' build. Not sure if I should save/start gearing a Tornado shot character, or your EK ignite build? Currently I have 42 divs. What do you think? I prefer mapping over bossing, but would like a build that can do any; kind of how hexblast is (albeit, I do get one tapped every now and then on the hexblast character..).

I was gonna go this route after my hexblaster, but I'm not sure if I can sell all the gear I have on it (200-250div). Feel like I shouldn't have gone so hard into hexblast and instead fitted out a third character

Because without that, i cap at 26 mines and cant throw additional mines until they expire.. its so expensive though.. and im not having luck with vaaling one.. gone through like 20 already. And i dont know what ghost reaver or impossible escape are, haha.

@@iDrkTV impossible escape with ghost reaver allows you to get 3 mine notables and a crit notable without pathing to them, saves on skill points, but it was 15 div when I bought it haha

That's cap bro. Not regen. His pob only shows 7 regen per second. And that's coming from the unique kaoms gloves. It converts life regen into rage regen, but makes you unable to regen.

@@andreashobby don't think Im understanding. The rage is coming from the gloves. It gives you 1 rage regen per second per 100 life regen you have, but it gets rid of your ability to regen life. Everybody inherently has a rage cap of 50, it's just not shown anywhere unless you can actually generate rage.

@@andreashobby can you cast berserk? If you cant do you have it on lifetap? Do you actually have life regen somewhere on the build? If you can, you can only use berserk when you have rage and it consumes rage while active and then goes on cool down and you need to regen enough rage to use it again. Edit: sorry if you know all that. Not trying to make you feel stupid. Just trying to figure it out since I can't see it for myself.

i do agree that magic find should be removed, but on the contrary having sources of raw currency like sanctum and tota that arent scaled by mf does counterract its existence in a way, i however dont think that just snapping all mf gear out of existence in a patch would be the right solution tho, should get something in return imo

If you can replicate every other piece of gear you only lose like 4m dps from 28m -> 23.8m. To bump it back up you can probably use the 8 passives you get from not using the massive thread to get higher # of passives on your clusters, prioritizing getting at least 20 dex with said clusters to equip spine bow. Move the flame jewel to the massive thread of hope jewel socket and get another medium cluster. You'll just deal with having lower level Steelskin, Petrified Blood, Berserk, Vitality gems because you lose 40 str. Getting 20 dex is probably way easier with clusters than 40 str and you will have to do way less work once you can afford the massive thread.

solo MF is not so many currency as full party MF - that should be nerfed, Full party has additional quantity, they have much better chance for all drop content- its not normal

I think MF should stay. Instead, buff other builds or nerf the ones that are outliers....

You don't even need to do much for MF to benefit you a lot. Just wearing double ventor's and a goldwyrm while doing Wandering Path will net you more than double the amount of normal drops, and that's something even an average player can do.

@@Hooga89 Incorrect, small correction from my side, there is a loot table comparison with percent etc according to how much IIQ you got. IIRC the breakpoint for literally doubling the drops is around 60-70ish IIQ, so a goldwyrm and double ventors wont exactly double your loot but definetly improve it by a good amount :p

Well the idea of magic find is you play a harder version of the game, you give up damage and survivability, and as a reward you get more loot. A min-maxed MF character with great damage and survivability, is extremely expensive, well outside the reach of most players.

The Headhunter is the problem obviously. What are you guys even talking about?

By the same logic, melee players are going to request that ranged builds needs to be deleted, because they are much more effective mapping. Different type of builds are better for different type of contents. MF are bad for sanctum, heist, bossing, high deli %, etc. MBX seems to be discovering in 2023 that mf is the prime way for general mapping. I would like to see him without mirrorS tier gear to try MF and to actually see its downsides.

and mbX has been playing Magic Find for the entirety of his early PoE farming T3 Burial Chambers. But yeah, Melee should get buffed. And Tornado Shot nerfed. On top of that, you can see me playing 1c build on League Start and for the marjority of the first 1-2 Weeks of the Season.

Most of the playerbase wont make more than lets say 100 div. Yes, thats still a good amount of divines but you cant achieve a good solo MFing char for T16 juiced maps. Also not many people know what they are doing wrong for not achieving a high amount of divines each league, which is ofc a personal skill issue problem, dont get me wrong, but its just not worth thinking about MF if you are new to the game, casually playing or if you dont have a high amount of divines. I doubt that people will look at this build and say "Meh, I dont like to get so much more valuable items out of every single map, I rather stick to my alch and go mapping". But the problem is, people dont have the money for something like this, not meaning they are casuals or they should rather go play something else like your retarded mind said there. Long story short, if you just got enough braincells to type shit like this then go play D4. :)

My full MF Caustic Arrow used a body armor which alone was 250 divine. If you play Phys/Elemental bow then good ones start at 120+ divines.. lmao

@@BlackRuffy17 Seems to me like you don't have the currency to MF so you're getting angry. "You can zoom" on ANY build these days. Even lower budget ones. People spending 300-400 divines on an MF build and you're scared they pull ahead. Those people will pull ahead no matter what since they've already amassd currency. How does it affect you or your currency making skills whatsoever? this is not a PvP game, it's pretty much a solo game with trading. You can literally make 6-7 (10+ depending on clear speed) divines an hour with alch and go maps. It's never been easier to make currency. Years ago alch and go maps gave us like what, 5-10 c per map if we're lucky? Barely 1 div/hour for most people.

Magic find needs to be deleted. In 50 maps you make more then a week of farming alc and go. You can tell they balance around magic find and it ruins the game for many.
