Patents : Part 5 : Parts of the patent document
A patent is the granting of a property right by a sovereign authority to an inventor. This grant provides the inventor exclusive rights to the patented process, design, or invention for a designated period in exchange for a comprehensive disclosure of the invention.
In this video, a brief description about parts of the patent is discussed. It contains patent information, title of the patent invention, name of the inventor, assignee of the patent, applicant of the patent on the first page of the patent. Example of US patent is discussed. In India patents are granted by indian patent office as per indian patent act,1970.
