Which Daisy Town? There are at least four of them... 1.) The original comic 2.) The cartoon version 3.) The Terence Hill movie version 4.) The Jean Dujardin movie version And probably a version in the Dalton-Movie, the Dalton-catoon, and at least one other cartoon/movie-interpretation. Yeech, I was lucky, when I was into Lucky Luke back in the 80s, when we had only 2, or 3 Daisy Towns. ;)

Note: English is not my first language. My father passed away in 2013. When I was little, we watched Lucky Luke movies together. When I listen to this song, I imagine my father hugging me and then leaving off like Lucky Luke towards sunset 🌅

@@emirares Each time I saw a Cine Cadeau from Tele Quebec, my father watch it Daisy Town. Saldy, he died from a cancer October 27th 2023 at the age of 63. He was born Sepetmber 27th 1959!

I remember that my grandma gave me as a gift a plate and lucky luke picture was on it I love her so much

What a great melody. My son is now 7 and this summer I started letting him have my Lucky Luke collection, one story at a time. He is gobbling them up. So glad I kept them all these years. The German version of this song was recorded by Freddy Quinn and it's quite a bit more stripped down than Pat Woods' version with its Super-Elvis style ending.

Even tho I’m from 2010, my father had the complete lucky Luke series (the old ones from like 1950? In vhs tapes). THid song will forever be with me. And the lucky series. It’s sad that they changed the outro in the new adventures of lucky Luke.

the other day I went with a friend to the so-called weekly market, here in Morocco, there are many of them, they open once a week and usually sell any old junk for cheap price, you can also find some rare things there... and I came across on an old comic with a hard cover, on which Lucky Luke was drawn, printed in France in 1989 .. my mother told me about this character more than once, but I myself have never read comics, only watched cartoons about the Dalton brothers in childhood .. so I bought and read the comic, there were several short but very fascinating stories that I liked immensely, and more than once I observed how Lucky Luke, leaving into the sunset, sings his song, which brought me here hehehe...... PS: sorry for my bad English..

It makes me happy a lot of people know Lucky Luke. He’s who I look up to be since I was a kid. A classy cowboy

But the older you get, the more you realize that the melancholy loneliness you thought it was, isn't actually so bad. He's not unhappy. He's content. All he needs is himself and his horse and the road. He's been through a lot and he feels like he's much better off alone rather than getting tangled up in other peoples lives. Guys who solves every problem with a gun. Women who get you in trouble or just plain are trouble. It's a great song =)

I used to come here for nostalgia purposes and seeing Arthur Morgan comments, which at the time I didn't know who it was. Then I played the game and I come here twice as often.
