I love how this is so similar to the traditional style of Italian pasta. Highlighting a few ingredients rather than mixing a bunch of things. Minimalism and simplicity, and high quality ingredients.
I used fennel in my tomatoe sauce, by experimentation, didn’t google any recipes, just tried it out and it was so beautiful the liquorice taste and the tang of the tomatoes!
