@@benjaminmiddaugh2729 that's a very diplomatic way of saying it's overpriced. "oh, it's too pricey to buy every week, probably should just buy it on special occasions."
@benjaminmiddaugh2729
4 жыл бұрын
@@ellanica No, it's an accurate acknowledgment that special occasions can justify higher quality, more expensive, goods. Doing just fine with cheaper stuff most of the time does not mean that a more expensive item is overpriced. Better ingredients, more labor-intensive production, and (sadly) branding can definitely bring the price up surprisingly high, but as long as the branding markup is minimal, I'm okay with high-priced goods, because they can actually be desirable at times. But, like our expert in the video, I'm certainly not buying them often.

You remember the knife guy? Every single one, he was going "Yeah, this one is a show-piece, so it's clearly more expensive. This other one, though, is what you'd buy for a commercial kitchen because it does the job and you won't cry when you wear it out and have to replace it."

I'm glad he reacted to the price of the pasta ! This looks MASSIVELY overpriced.
