Pasta Bolognese!

BOLOGNESE SAUCE INGREDIENTS:
2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
2 Tbsp unsalted butter, plus 2 Tbsp more to toss pasta
1 1/2 cups chopped onion (from 1 medium onion)
1 celery stalk, finely chopped)
1 medium carrot, peeled and shredded
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 lb ground beef (20% fat), or use a mixture of beef and pork
1/2 tsp fine sea salt, plus more to taste
1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper, plus more to taste
1 cup dry white wine (or red wine)
28 oz canned crushed tomatoes
1 1/2 cups hot water, plus more as needed
2 Tbsp double-concentrated tomato paste (or 4 Tbsp regular tomato paste)
1/4 cup parsley, finely chopped (or fresh basil), plus more to serve
1/2 cup whole milk
TO SERVE:
1 1/2 lbs papperdelle or tagliatelle pasta
Parmesan cheese, to serve

As an italian, I'm so impressed! Bravissimo! You even boiled and salted your water BEFORE dumping the pasta in AND reserved some of that starchy cooking water to amalgamate the sauce afterwards. 10/10✨ Btw in Italy we call that sauce "ragù alla bolognese"!

you must not be italian, this is not the original recipe. we would NEVER put any cream or milk in the sauce. plus, we would never use parsley, this is just so american. where are you from? you must be some american who has grandparents from italy and you claim that you are italian.... SMH porcoddio

@@badgerboy4448 yeah I know I'm a mix of belgian and italian but when you know the pasta that is available in America and also the ingredients, it is not like in Italy so you have to adapt a bit if you're an Italian Migrant I won't be suprised that quality of the food in America ruins your Italian dish.

Looks good. The only thing i would do differently is to add the bolognese and pasta water in first before you put the pasta in there. But that's just nitpicking at this point 😂
