Something I've noticed is everyone makes it seem like Snape was that way as an adult because of his love for Lily, and everyone says that because she didn't like him back it was alright for her to completely ditch Snape for James and let James get away with bullying him for years of his life. Just because Snape had an obsession with Lily and loved her a lot doesn't mean everything he did was because of his feelings for her. In the line "Always", he meant she'll always be in his heart and he'll always truly love her and care about her, but he's also coming to know that his obsession with her isn't too great. And, I feel like he was simply getting over it, just kept that as a memory of her. But, James deserved to die, end of story. :D

Finally someone defended severus, people always crucify severus but not james' like i am tired of people just forgiving james for bullying snape. And in my opinion lily was a bad friend you do not just date someone who bullys her friend it is not okay, she might have been a good person and mother but she was a horrible friend.

@@beatrizsilva3747 That is exactly how I feel about the situation. People jump to defend James without even seeing the wrong he did. Only because Severus was mean to Harry Potter in the movies. Though, Severus did end up helping Harry Potter the most in the movie which makes up for his actions, but no one sees the good things he did. He died in the hands of Voldemort, something a good guy would do. Lily was just as bad as James, no matter how friendly or how wonderful she was as a mother. She was an awful friend to Severus, and no one can fully justify that. She may not be apart of the group of bullies, but she's still just as bad. Especially because we get a glimpse into Severus' past. And from what I think, Lily probably witnessed the bullying of Snape behind the scenes honestly. Though, the fact Lily never tried to stand up for Severus bothered me. You can stand up for a friend, even if you don't like them romantically.

Why will always love jk Rowling Harry Potter series no character is as complex as Severus and Dumbledore both are between grey are neither good nor evil don't forget Dumbledore was preparing Harry for a sacrifice with doubt that he will survive sure he may have theories but not certain so yeah he put Harry life in danger since the moment he entered Hogwarts.
