fun fact: Yahiko actually attempted to kill Orochimaru but failed, when Orochimaru joined the akatsuki Konan tried to kill him but also failed, then when Orochimaru left the Akatsuki Nagato sent Itachi to kill him, but Itachi made a deal with Orochimaru, if he didn't harm Sasuke then Itachi wouldn't kill him, in his time as Hokage Minato sent a group of Anbu to assassinate Orochimaru but they all died, and Naruto tried to kill Orochimaru countless times. So, all of Jiraiya's student attempted to kill Orochimaru edit: Not just Jiraiya's students Sasuke, Anko, and Sakura tried to kill Orochimaru. So I guess you could say all of the students of the legendary Sannin's students except Kabuto tried to kill Orochimaru.
