That feel when websites still have old password creation practices -_- I had to create a password recently where one of the criteria was literally "Don't use these special characters: !, #, (, )". They also limited me to 20 characters; double red flag. I get the special characters bit (but could be mitigated by having input validation in their backend), I really don't get why businesses are still limiting password length. Also, thanks for the video, Zach!

It's a way of preventing users from overloading the server by setting entire Holy Bible as their password, which is then hashed on the server. The limit could still be increased to match maximum length allowed by popular password managers (128 characters).

I like my hardware password manager with pin code and smartcard.
Great video for normal users and those new to the field. Kind of tired of arguing with people to get them to get and use a password manager.
