Love Rose Marie! Absolutely love her on The Dick Van Dyke Show. I have all the episodes, and watch them over and over and over; I will never get tiered of them.

I'm amazed how many of these stars couldn't get through a show without a cigarette. Alan King keeps sneaking a drag, and Peter Lawford smoked like a train every time he was on the show.

Me either. Terrific. Anyone know what movie she was talking about? The only thing I know during this era was that after Dick Van Dyke, she did Hollywood Squares for years and years and then the Doris Day show.

I saw that secret little hand gesture, Rose Marie...

I think maybe for "Warning" - certainly for those people who live in the central southern states - the word "Tornadooooo" (said in that Passwordian way to indicate another word).

Wish you could still get Rose Marie cosmics .

Only because the clue "Snick" was used successfully for "Snack," I think for the next word, "Trolley" the clue can ever could have smiled with a little chuckle and little shrug of the shoulders said (in that same Passwordian way to noting in opposite or whatever) "Trilly...??" (I'm not saying it definitely would have worked, but because of snick/snack, it might have).

When Rose Marie was on the old dick van Dyke show. Rose was one of first femist on tv. She worked as a writer. She had her own apt. She must had done well she wore a fur coat.

I think for "Stag" I'd say is 1/3 clue, Rosemarie could have smiled and kind of swaggered a little/smirked and said "Films……" And then maybe another little chuckle. Although that probably wouldn't work in today's world, my dad used to talk about his college buddies getting these "stag films" which is I guess what pornography consisted of back in those days.

I would have said "belly" for "button."

That guy got to kiss Rose Marie!

I think if you are going to go for a sound alike for "Taboo," I probably would have tried "Tattoo."

Can't believe Rose Marie said she had a hard time thinking because of her contestant's rumpled, badly fitting and LOUD plaid jacket. It deserved it.

Rose Marie's hair was an odd tint: not true blonde but kind of rusty.

It was a kind gesture. People didn't get bothered by those things back then. I'm sure if she was bothered she would have told someone before the show that she didn't want to be touched.

Is it just me or does Connie look like her arms are about four feet long? I'd say almost because that's a long wing span. Judging by his hideous jacket, I'd say Tom was a used car salesman
