Yes and also in all these episodes I can't believe how much they used hand gesture hints.

Women should stay home and look after the kids being content as a wife, mother and homemaker.

It was a nice time to grow up actually. My mom was able to stay home with us 3 kids. We never came home from school to an empty house. But Mom did keep an active real estate license in California. My dad worked two jobs. We were often able to go with him on his part time job. His full time job was as a Los Angeles Policeman. Even with two jobs, he still managed to make time to do things with us kids like coach my brothers’ little league teams and go on camping/fishing trips with them. He always took the whole family on great vacations every year in our truck camper or to our small cabin in Colorado. The 1950s and 1960s were not perfect times. But better times in some respects.

@@SandraHof oh, yes, I wholeheartedly agree! My mother was a stay-at-home mom, too. My mother taught me to be a lady and etiquette which is what a mother, and parents are supposed to do. Children today are spoiled rotten and are not taught respect, nor the ethic that one has to work hard, accept responsibility for their actions and for their own welfare.

It’s “dated” because it’s a game-show from the past. Times change; not always for the better.

@@sheristewart3940 I agree💯%. I do have a theory though. It seems that "people" want their dream house now, they want to drive a new car ( not used ), they want fancy vacations yearly, etc, etc. Therefore both parents have no choice but to work. It has nothing to do with things being expensive. Things were always expensive ( for the time ). Our parents on the other hand were willing to wait/ work for their dream house, a new car and the fancy vacation. They were willing to live below their means and save for what they wanted. Like I said though, it's just a theory🤷😉
