I LOVE the 60s fashions that we get to see on these shows!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I remember Dick Shawn from an ep of 3's Company. He was the perfect actor to play Jack's father. So animated and funny.
I like Connie Stevens's dress.
Dick Shawn's hair seems to grow taller on every episode!

Which makes no sense because five shows were all taped the same day.
I also was a student in Queens College NYC. in the '70's.
Gene is handsome!
I would've said Cursive to Print.
Gene is good looking.

The great thing about this version of "Password" is you get to see some of the real person come out--instead of the stage persona. The current Fallon " Password" does not--a lot of yelling and whooping.

Interesting that The Producers was originally called Springtime for Hitler.

The story I heard was they had to change it because the original title was deemed to offensive and world turn people away.

Was it the word,"springtime"?
Tall hair on the British lady...
I really wish the CC option was available on these shows. It is very hard to hear / understand several of the speakers. Does anyone know what Connie Stevens gave a clue for the password "Honest"? The people needed to speak into the microphone.
When did they stop showing the audience during the opening?

You mean the NYC shows? The Los Angeles weeks always showed the audience during the opening, but the first time they showed the audience during the opening permanently in NYC(in the daytime anyway), was the week of May 29-June 2, 1967 when the daytime version returned to the NYC. The nighttime version never went to Los Angeles.

IvoryM1986 no like this episode, after they introduce the players they don’t show the audience like the older episodes.
