@@richrol58 I was alluding to how he imaginatively framed his clue for the word within the context of ‘pulling together’. As opposed to the other meaning as you described it, which is (on the face of it) obvious.

The second contestant was driving me crazy. Instead of looking at Carol, to help her with clues, she kept looking to her right. Carol helps by somewhat acting out the clues...🥴

How was Fairbanks supposed to give a clue for 'gardenia' - what an impossible word for lightning round. Flower / Corsage / Cheap MAY have done it.

That do look a little bit alike from the side or profile and sometimes when they smiled. I see Liza Minnelli too slightly.

It's a hard dig...but I can place Carol Burnett in Dallas 1963. As per zap film. Wearing the same long red coat she wore in meeting JFK with Judy Garland. Carol Burnett / Jean hill.

I would have loved to see her onstage! She was in Calamity Jane that year, right? I saw The Unsinkable Molly Brown, on tour. Think it was a year before that.

A good clue for hysteria could be "mania" -> "uterus," but only if your partner is a bit knowledgeable on medical history.

Contestants get cheated on this show.

Gary wasn't a very good player. Carol gave good clues. Maybe he was too young?

Everytime they get the word hysteria, no one says the one clue that'd get it every time: woman. almost everyone knows where hysterics comes from, and if you just say "crazed" over and over, that doesn't quit signal the right word. sad they were so cowardly even back then to dare offend the coddled secs.
