What do you need to know to pass the Remote Pilot test in 2023?

Hi John I used your course to pass my RP test in 2021 - I did not take the recurrent test prior to certificate lapsing in Feb of 2023. Do I need to re-take the original test, or may I take the recurrent exam to get my certificate current? Thanks again for your help - your course was excellent!

Hello, when was the last time this course was updated. I paid for one on Udemy only to find out later the information was two years old. needless to say im confused now with whats old and what is new with the FAA part 107

Yeah that sucks, with as fast as this information changes. I updated it last month with some new sample questions. Everything else is constantly updated.
Once a person begins this course, is there a rough guesstimate on when a person usually sets up the appointment to take the actual test?

Some people take the test the following week, some people take months. All depends on the learning style & ability.

If you give yourself two months and study 20 minutes a day you should get it. You’ll know when you’re ready. Take some practice exams and you’ll get a feeling and you’ll know.
my friend is in ATC and wanted to her remote pilot certificate. Would this course help out or should she be okay based off prior knowledge

She may be okay with self-study, but there is a lot more to the Remote Pilot test knowledge than what’s on any other FAA test. We’ve had private pilots take this course too and it has really helped fill in the knowledge gaps, and reinforce other areas.
107 license? is it online test? Or do I need to give any physical test like a driving test?

You need to go to a testing center but there are no flying skills test. Just a multiple choice test.

yes you have to go to a testing center, they do add a few questions that aren't in the study material. I would suggest taking the practice tests until your making 95s to 98s then go schedule your test. you should def pass. that's at least were I did
