@@jennajoseph893 Queen Elizabeth II was still officially the queen of many countries, called commonwealth realms. These include Canada, New Zealand, Australia and many others. They function as independent democracies, but still recognize her as Queen.

@Luke I - Australia is both a constitutional monarchy.and an independent and democratic country. The Australian head of state until today was Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Now the Australian head of state is His Majesty King Charles III.
