The love theme from Chinatown is so haunting
I did a voice over gig for Towne for a film he directed. Great guy. Great session. Great "lesson." Such an honor....The man who played Mr. Mulwray was a friend of mine...Many good memories of both....

Wow...I'm an aspiring voice actor. I've kind of caught that after working on a podcast and really enjoying the work. I haven't released it yet, but am building a vocal booth in my basement. Can you elaborate? I'm just fascinated by the whole process.
Theme from Chinatown was written by Jerry Goldsmith and the trumpet solo was played by Uan Rasey
Sad for all the families that have lost loved ones. RIP to them all.
RIP Mr. Landau and the master scribe Towne.
Didn't know Judy Belushi died. I hope she is reunited with John. They met as teenagers.

Life in the circus looking after John. RIP
We lost Donald Sutherland just a few days ago. Robert Towne directed him as Coach Bill Bowerman in a wonderful film about the life of Steve Prefontaine - "Without Limits". I was in that film and got to meet both of them. Ordinary people achieving extraordinary performances.
RIP to all.
Rest in peace to John Landau. I enjoyed the movies he produced.
Could CBS this morning credit the background music they're using in this video & others. Thank you

The music in this video is the theme music to the movie Chinatown (which was written by Robert Towne) composed by Jerry Goldsmith.

Really?! You had to put that here? Time to remember, not to politicize.
