Caracu is an abandoned village on the island of Corsica, offering a unique glimpse into the island's past. Nestled in the rugged hills, the village is accessible via narrow, overgrown paths that enhance its secluded atmosphere.

The village consists of crumbling stone houses and overgrown pathways, remnants of a once-thriving community. The structures, though decayed, retain elements of their original design, with ivy-covered walls and partially collapsed roofs. The village square, now a grassy area, suggests it was once a center of communal activity.

Just Ferries, as usual, you provide us with extraordinary images of the crossings you make. When will you be doing a complete crossing of the Mediterranean (North to South)? A trip from Marseille to Algiers or Tunis on the Méditerranée, Jean Nicoli or Danielle Casanova would be magnificent. Congratulations again on your work! 👏

Wunderbar. Wie immer. Sieht auch von innen ansprechend aus.Und schön, dass CF wieder die Ouvertüre von La gazza ladra beim Auslaufen spielt, das löst bei mir immer einen pawlowschen Reflex aus und ich möchte sofort nach Korsika 🤩

Vielen Dank! Zum Schiff: Leider zu wenig Plätze an einer Außenreling, alles ist nur nach innen gerichtet. Für Videofilmer ein Graus. Zum Glück gibt es die offenen Seiten bei den Rettungsbooten, wo man auf satten 3 mal ca. 1,5 Metern einen Platz am Meer hat.

Danke. Sardinien folgt im Laufe dieses "Korsika-Zyklus", beginnend mit der Überfahrt von Bonifacio nach Santa Teresa. Dieses Video folgt noch im Juni.

Thank you very much. I don't have a single favorite. Of the current ferries, I like KALLISTE for its design, as well as MEGA ANDREA and her sister plus MEGA VICTORIA. I also like the original design of the JEAN NICOLI. The "coziest" ferry for me personally is the old COLUMBIA of the Alaska Marine Highway System, while I also liked NORTHERN EXPEDITION from BC Ferries. You see, I couldn't choose just one ferry.
Do you drive very fast on cardeck or have you sped up the footage?

'Superfast' on 'Megaexpress' to reach the 'Superferry'
I really like corsica ferries, but THIS ship is terrible. The whole design and the conversion are a joke for the Med. You are much better off on any other Corsica Ferries vessel.

I had actually booked MOBY ORLI incl. an overnight stay, but as you know, she was chartered out. I was offered to change my booking to MOBY KISS (which didn't sail either). And so I ended up on MEGA EXPRESS FIVE. Unfortunately, the ship doesn't have enough room at the open railing, everything is "inward-facing" or closed off with glass panels. I could only film the sea "unfiltered" (without glass) through a few gaps.
