समायोजन गर्नुपर्ने वैज्ञानिक तथ्यमा सबै सहमत तर व्यक्ति विशेषको व्यापारमा असर पर्ने भएकाले कार्यान्वयन गर्न सकिदैन भन्ने तर्क सरकारको लाचारीपन हो । भारतलाइ अग्रिम सूचना दिए शिवरात्री र रामजानकीमा समस्या पर्दैन ।

मलाइ त चाड पर्व कुनै पनि न छुट्ने गरि मिलान गरि दिने हो भने कुनै आपत्ती छैन। महिना को नाम जे सुकै होस तर चाड पर्व चाइ होस।

भनेपछी अब बैशाख महिनामा March- April पर्ने भयो है ! 😀😀😀😀😀😀

अवश्य पनि चाडपर्वहरु साैर महिनाका हिसाबले २४ दिन पछाडि धकेलिएका छन् भने चान्द्र महिनाका हिसाबले धेरैजसाे १ महिना नै पछाडि धकेलिएका छन् । असाेज-कार्तिकमा मनाइने गरेकाे दसैँ अब भदाै-असाेजमा मनाउन पर्ने भएकाे छ ।

अमेरीकी डे लाइट सेभिंग पात्रो घटबढ समायोजन गरेको होइन है ।यो तर्क मिलेन ।

महिना नै हटाउनु भन्दा हरेक महीना मा एक एक दिन घटाएर दुई बर्ष मा २४ दिन घटाउन सकिन्छ त, यसो गर्दा न महिना मा समस्या न चाड पर्व मा समस्या!

बृहत संहिताकाे अादित्यचाराध्यायमा अयनकाे बारेमा यसरी उल्लेख गरिएकाे छ। अाश्लेषार्द्धाध्दक्षिणमुत्तरमयनं रवेर्धनिष्ठाद्यम्। नूनं कदाचिदासीद्येनाेक्तं पूर्वशास्त्रेषु।। अश्लेषाकाे अाधा भागबाट दक्षिणाायन र धनिष्ठाकाे अाधाभागबाट उत्तरायन हुन्छ भनेर उल्लेख गरेका छन् तर ज्याेतिसकाे सबैभन्दा ठुलाे ग्रन्थ बृहत् संहितामा वराहमिहिरले अाफ्नाे मत दिदै कर्कादि बाट दक्षिणायन र मकरादि बाट हुन्छ भनेका छन् । साम्प्रतमयनं सवितुः कर्कटकाद्यं मृगादितश्र्चान्यत् । उक्ताभावाे विकृतिः प्रत्यक्षपरीक्षणाैव् र्यक्तिः भनेर कुरा भेटिन्छ अन्य महिना नै लाेप हुने कुरा बृहत् संहितामा मेराे अध्ययानले भेटाएकाे छैन ।

यहि भयेर देश बिकास नभको रैछ। ल फटाफट गरि हाल। चाड पर्व पनि उल्टो दिनमा मनाईरहेको रहेछौ। सबै गरिबी हट्छ फटाफट, सबै सिक्षित हुन्छ्न, सबै कलकारखाना देशमा बनिन्छ, सिमाको रक्षा हुन्छ।

असोज महिना गएर केही फरक पर्दैन, तर ७७ सालको दशैं हराउन पाइएन है ।

It has two things to be considered very seriously. Our vedic calendar starts when the Sun is seen just starting the Ashwini asterism, and as the Sun is seen touching (in front of) of Ashwini Nakshatra. We call this day Baisakh 1. In our calendar Aries starts and Sun remains in Aries (Baisakh or Mesh) till the Sun is seen 3 degree 20 minutes of Krittika. But Western calendar starts when there is summer solstice, i. e. the moment the Sun is seen over Equator. And this day is is fixed as 21 March. And Sun is considered to be in Aries. Western calendar does not take Nakshatra into Account. What we call Aries, they call it Taurus, except 7 days overlapping. Conclusion in short: if we emphasize the weather or climate, we need to adjust the month. But if we want to celebrate any festival in a month, we need to be serious. For an example, Bhadra Krishna Ashtami. If we replace a month by a month, then we call old Shrawan month as Bhadra. Then when does Bhadra Krishna Ashtami fall?Problem: the new Bhadra krishna Ashtami (Old Shrawan) will NOT have moon in Rohini Nakshatra Brish Rasi. The old Bhadra Krishna Ashtami (New Asoj Ashtami) will have Moon in Rohini Nakshatra Brish Rashi. Unless the Moon is in Rohini Nakshatra Brish rasi, we cannot celebrate Krishna Ashtami. What to do in Such condition??? If we want Bhadra krishna Ashtami, then it will not have MOON in Rohini Brish Rasi. When the Moon is in Rohini Brish, we start to call it Asoj!!!! This is crux of the problem that Suryanath sir is trying to say. Another puzzling state starts: by definition, we need to call Baisakh till sun is seen from Ashwini to Krittika Nakshatra because Baisakh is a name for the month when the Sun is seen over Mesh Rasi. Baisakh name was derived from its Moon of Purnima, i.e. the Moon will be over Bishakha in Tula rasi in Baisakh purnima. If we overlap a month, your new Baishakh will have no more Aswini to Krittika. It will have purbhabhdrapad, to Revati. There will be great difficulties by definition of month too. Festival therefore absolutely needs present calendar. But it’s true, climate changes. After 17000 years, if we follow same calendar , January and Baisakh coincides, and we will have winter in Baisakh. Great dilemma as per climate point. The difference of our present calendar (sideral, sider means star in Latin) is sideral. It gets changing with the western calendar (tropical, as per the line of cancer on 21 March). their difference is known as Ayanamsa , i.e. precession. Just for information (please consider me writing long) : When Prithvinarayan shah made victory over kathmandu? It’s 1768 September 25 , and it was 1825 Asoj 13 Indra jatra day. See now, Asoj 13 is September 29 or 30. OR September 25 is Asoj 8 or 9 . 4 days already changed. Now there are clearly two sides of the main problem: If we delete a month for adjustment, we will have problems for Festival, as illustrated in Krishna Ashtami above. If we do not delete a month, we will not have the same climate in the festival as it used to have. Climate changes, as illustrated, as January and Baisakh will coincide to each other. It is highly techno-socio concerns. I have one suggestion: if we adjust climate with festival, we should change the name of months too. Otherwise, the name of months does not comply with the Nakshatra purnima it belongs to. We can look into the suggestions of Pramod ji for new name of months. A good discourse on public level and their suggestions are imperative. It is not science only, it is deeply related to culture, Festival, and way of life.

साधारण हेर्नुस् है ! वर्षलाई दुई अयनमा छुट्याईएको छ उत्तरायण (माघ देखि असार) र दक्षिणायन (साउन देखि पुस) अब माघ १ गते सबैभन्दा लामो दिन पर्न पर्ने हो तर अहिले पुस ७ गते पर्छ ।

Nepali Boy It’s different. Leap year is Adhik Barsha. Adhik Mas is caused when there are Two New Moon in a Nepali month. So it does Not fall in winter months. Coz they have less days like 29 days of Mangsir. It falls in summer months, like 32 days of Asar, so that two New moon can fall in a Nepali month.

वर्षमा ५ घण्टा ४८ मिनेट ४५ सेकेण्ड बढि भएकाे र ४ वर्षमा २३ घण्टा १५ मिनेट भएपछि १ दिन नै जाेडेकाे हाे । अधिकमासमा चाहिँ १ वर्षमा साैर वर्षभन्दा चन्द्रमाकाे वर्ष ११ दिन कम हुने हुँदा ३ वर्षमा १ महिना नै कम भएपछि १ अधिकमास थपेर कमि पूरा गर्ने व्यवस्था हाे ।
