    If u wash the mixie after grinding the paruppu and add it to the tamarind water and bring it to a boil and then add urundais, it will never break-osmosis principle

    While cooking better not to wear glass bangles . Instead of Fennel we can add Hing . Asafotida.After started boiling the dhal balls are added to prevent breaking.👍🏼

    Dear Chef Deena ji/Mrs.Thangam mani, Many thanks for the wonderful paruppu urundai kuzhambu. I feel very happy to see you both as mother & son. You both are so friendly & affectionate. Could we fry the paruppu urundai & add to the gravy instead of cooking in kuzhambu itself.? By this we can ensure that the urundai will never break. Just a thought.     When you add fried or steamed urundais the gravy will not get absorbed into the urundais...best method is to make the urundais and add them slowly into the gravy...this way the urundais will be very soft and juicy and flavourful inside out.
