The the thing I hate the most is politicians trying to frame America as a Democracy. America is a republic and alot of the founding fathers are quoted saying very negative things about Democracy's. Most of it came down to that they believed Utilitarianism would make everyone equal but take away freedom. Make everyone equal but much less. They knew that of course we would have problems with equality, etc. But it was about the choice people made and not letting a gov get to big for its britches and do what it wants. Idk if it is but spending almost 50% of the country's production a year seems fine to me now and balanced well . I bet both party's agree and they sure make good use of it. All of the services they provide that no one else can do as well. I can think of alot of great things over 150 different gov organizations do. Not just the ones that come to mind fast like the atf, dea, homeland sec etc. i bet most American tax payers can think of at least 15 or 20 right away. What would we do with all that as business owners, mothers, fathers, blue colar and stem field workers? Why invest into a company or future plans to make even more thats stupid. over 150 complex problems need to be solved now clearly. I know everyone can agree.

She's been quite the progressive in this area as well and that's a no-go for me as far as a VP choice. I welcome her leanings on Constitutional government, the border, the military and others. But economics run this country and what does she stand for now if any different than before and if different, why the change. This election isn't just about this term. It's about the next two terms as well.

@@mikeottersole Well, not exactly. Brandon aside, VPs historically carry strong influence and are often the Admin interface to Congress on budgetary issues. Not my concerns, however. If the Pres doesn't make it, suddenly the VP IS in charge, and "respecting traditions" aside, they have a massive leg up going into the next election, which in this case WILL be in 4 years. I'm willing to listen to her but given her previous endorsement for the then-only admitted socialist running for President, there's not much reason to trust that her allegiances to the Grand Ol Communist and his ideologies have done a 180 and suddenly she sees the wisdom of a capitalist economy. She'd be the product of one helluva a DNC psyop though, huh? I'd give her that.

It doesn’t matter what’s in front of their names but how they vote. Trumps been more conservative on more things than the majority of republicans. That’s more important than what he’s registered as. I understand that’s probably too many steps for you to think through, but at least try.

I voted for Obama in 2008, I was a true believer. I'd get off work and go home and watch his campaign speeches. By 2012 I was disillusioned and voted a 3rd party candidate. By the time Trump came around his talking points may as well have been stolen right from my own thoughts. I understand the journey out of there.

Like and admire Tulsi. But voting in the past for Sanders and Biden, serve to eliminate her. Seriously flawed judgment.

Id never trust Tulsi for many reasons. There are much better candidates for VP. Shes just another strategic chess player but she hasnt fooled me 1 bit. I would not ever vote for her if she ran for office either. She was wrong on sooo many things and accused Trump of so many foul things when she was trying to get in the good graces of the dems.. now, she thinks she can just flip flop and convince us shes a diff. person now 👎🏻 Too late, dont wanna hear excuses. Im not a rocket scientist and could see what was going on. She is an opportunist 100%
