左右のサイドシルがやっと着きました。
社外パーツは若干大きい？取り付けに苦労しました。
元の位置、ドアの開閉を考えると無理やりは着けることはできないので、パーツにストレスなく溶接し強度も考えると、このようになりました。
左右で同じ作業になりますが、ご視聴よろしくお願いします。

This car is junk. Rather than try to reproduce each piece of metal exactly, and doing that for each spot weld is just stupid, you should have built a new space frame chassis onto which you cold have welded the body shell. It would have been much stiffer, and easier.

They are not just after the final result. They are in it for the painstaking restoration process. The "art". Those rolls royce panels are hand beaten to the final shape also aren't they?

@@Daetarg Art? It is rebuilding a cheap and mass produced product. Making it better would be art, and that would involve seam welding everything and stiffening up the chassis. ie, do what I suggested.
