Part II Aaron's Life Story by Juno and Aaron

Ойын-сауық

Here's Part II of my additions, corrections, and questions about the documentary produced by someone named Juno who I have been told is 22 years old and not 16. In this part, we are introduced to Bob Brock who I feel is the second greatest man I have ever known. His generosity and loyalty was amazing. I feel G-d brought us together and guided me to grab the contract to create Showbiz Pizza Place with Bob. He changed all of our lives and deserves his own documentary.
Please keep your comments respectable. If you can't, they will be filtered out.

Even now, the Rock-afire Explosion animatronics are way better and more interesting than Chuck E. cheese’s ever we’re. While those were still good and it’s a shame they’re removing almost all their animatronics, the Rock-afire Explosion characters had better movements and were generally funnier and had more natural conversations between songs like actual people. Plus Chuck E. Cheese’s songs especially now are a lot more childish and cringey while Rock-afire has more of actual good covers and original music.

Hey Aaron, I know that you say the concept of animatronics and an arcade doesn’t work anymore. And you might be right about that being the case in most places. However, have you ever considered opening one of these places up in a tourist trap like Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge TN, Wisconsin Dells WI, or Navy Pier? I’ve been to downtown Gatlinburg and the entire town is filled with arcades and each of them are insanely busy. These places get more than enough business. Opening a pop up ShowBiz Pizza Place would undoubtedly be profitable in a place like this. It would also give animatronic fans and people looking for 80s nostalgia a very convenient residency to reminisce or experience. At that point, it’s not about a question of whether the place will be busy. It’s about “how busy?” A small fraction of people are going to come to Barboursville West Virginia to see the Rockafire Explosion at Billy Bob’s Wonderland. They simply don’t have any other incentive to drive hundreds of miles out of their way. Trust me, you really should consider building one of these pop up ShowBiz locations in a tourist trap like downtown Gatlinburg. It won’t flop.

  • @therockafire

I agree. Opening this concept in a tourist area is the only application that could succeed. Opening them up in small communities and depending on the same local traffic, month after month is what doesn't work.

The work you did on the rockafire explosion is absolutely astonishing, and im really happy you made them. I love Rolfe and Earl, they are my absolute favorites! I’d also like to say, despite all the drama, you are still a big idol to me. I’ve been really into animatronics for a long time, as I find the way they work really fascinating. I hope to maybe get my hands on an old animatronic someday and restore it. I really love your work, lol. Sorry if im gushing too much skcjfjsj. I also hope you dont mind that im like. I think a lot of the cursing and sexuality jokes sprinkled throughout the documentary are Juno's sense of humor. It's like how you said in the last video, you'll say things like "If I were your dad I would get a switch" because you're trying to be funny and sometimes it doesn't come off that way. You probably know better than most people that telling a story is no fun when you stick strictly to the facts and don't add any jokes or commentary of your own into the mix! But what's funny to them might not be funny to you. That's fine, it's all subjective. It'd definitely be interesting to see you make a documentary-style video about this since you were actually there, maybe you should make one with your own jokes if you ever feel up to it! Edit to add, I think paranoia can both be based on something realistic or something fueled by anxiety. Or sometimes both. Yours was fueled by personal experience, and that's totally fair! I'm not sure what word to use other than paranoia, though, at least not without adding in an extra paragraph explaining your fear of being stolen from and Juno probably figured making that specific segment longer over the technicality of one word wasn't worth the hassle. I wouldn't, at least. :P Paranoia doesn't necessarily have to stem from mental illness. It just happens. I think everyone is paranoid about something in their life. Doesn't have to be a bad thing.

Aaron, it’s been over 30 years since concept unification where the Rockafire Explosion was converted into Chuck E Cheese characters. I still can’t help but question the legality of that process. Weren’t those animatronics still technically your intellectual property? To this day, there’s still Creative Engineering stickers and serial numbers on some of those animatronics along with some of the props at the remaining 5 stores with the 3-stage. I mean, really the only difference is the fact that the cosmetics were swapped out and the show looked bastardized and downgraded. Looking back after over 30 years, do you think there was any sort of legal mechanism you could’ve used to stop this conversion?

honestly, this documentary was quite disrespectful in my opinion.

I don't know, it was pretty informative. It might be a little more polite to separate extreme political opinions from a kids' show social media account, but I'm not Aaron and I don't decide what he does. Not up to me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Similarly Juno has their own opinions, so it's their documentary

i never thought of paranoia in that way very interesting also i think we all agree that we should ignore other peoples political decisions like I'm in Australia i do not care if someone votes trump because in the context of your channel political opinions don't matter what matters is the legacy of Aaron and his creations
