More people SHOULD be watching these videos and perhaps they would be passing the test! 🙂 The failure rate is quite dismal! CCS-P pass rate of 35% and 38% last two years. That is alarming! Either the test is completely offbase from we are studying or people just are not studying enough. That pass rate is just painful! Probably more people SHOULD be watching.

I just signed up for a cpc course and recently got my books and stumbled across your videos. I watched the first one on my lunch break at work and IMMEDIATELY printed the guidelines so i could follow along and make notes. I know you said your videos arent getting that many views but i just want to say that you have helped me extremely because when i got the books i wanted a refund of my money lol. You made it easy to break down the information and breaking it down in simple terms i understand. I appreciate you and you have a lifelong subscriber out of me!!!!!

Thank you so much for making these videos. They are so very helpful and very much appreciated. The guideline that says if the type of diabetes isn’t documented but the use of insulin is documented, code for type 2 diabetes. This is so confusing to me, as my brain wants to automatically assign Type 1 diabetes because it is documented that the patient is taking insulin. This seems like it would indicate type 1 diabetes. However, the rule says if the type of diabetes isn’t documented it automatically defaults to type 2 diabetes, even if it is documented that the patients uses insulin. I will have to remember this! The more I hear it, the more it is sticking. Thank you for explaining the guidelines in such detail.

Thank you so much for posting these guidelines walk throughs, I know it takes a lot of time to prepare. I am an old ICD9 coder, I have been out of coding for some time now and recently found myself helping my HIM department when a coworker resigned abruptly. So much as changed and I admit it is a bit overwhelming and I hold my breath each month when billing cycles roll around. Your videos are giving my confidence back. Appreciate what you are doing so much.
