The guys blew the 55 apart and Trevor shot the front end components in black Color Build. Meanwhile Tony prepped out the jambs on the car as well as the dash and firewall to be shot in Super Build.

    Am 73 years old and I have been painting for 50 years boy does the time go by quick!!!!! But I painted cars boats motorcycles show cars concept vehicles for Chrysler Ford and some GM's so I no what it takes to do a great paint job people don't realize how much prep work it takes... Then all the color sanding and rubbing out and polishing .. I want to give a heads up to the paint shop well done.. I can't wait to see the 55 all done.. thanks 😊 😁 and stay safe

    You guys are amazing! Incredible attention to detail, I'm a back yard garage painter/hotrod builder, nothing even close to your level.. But I definitely can relate to the time it takes (labor hrs). Keep up the incredible work can't wait for the next video!

    @@davidson2004fatboy hard to say, of course it cost a lot to hire anyone to do anything verses doing it yourself. At our shop rate we would seem very affordable compared to most shops in S. California...but time is definitely money, and any restoration taken to a high level of craftsmanship will take a lot of time.

    ​@@davidson2004fatboy In the Northwest suburbs the good shops are at $120/hour plus materials. Of course that doesn't includes parts. Figure $1k per day plus parts.
