Awesome. Keep up the bronco videos! If those sunvisors annoy you, a simple fix is to get some neodymium magnets with a recessed hole in the center. Run a screw through the magnet and sunvisor on the end of the visor and put a speed nut on the end of the screw. This will hold the visor up on the roof and keep them flopping about.

Suggestion on that alternator, consider what has come to be called the 3G replacement. 85 came with a 2G alternator and there are some serious problems in the connector which can lead to failures and even worse, fire.

I've got an "84 Bronco, 351W all good metal. Work in process. The body paint is rhino liner top to bottom. Not sure if I'm going to add headers, only because of heat issues.( I lve in the Phoenix area). I do like your choice of mudd tire. Good road tire for me, with the sand and then switch to a rock tire for the northern trips. Thanks for the videos

HI! i have a 1985 bronco. I feel your pain on the wiring. i gave mine a trim when i ditched the Old ford Hei and installed a gm style one wire distributer, i ditched a p09nd of messed up unnecessary wiring and a control box and i gained a hotter , easier starting unit... I recommend the upgrade. Reply

Not sure if you’re ever gonna paint this rig, but go down to your local home depot and grab a few cans of Rustoleum Gloss Black Turbo Cans. It’ll give the rig a nice shine and you’ll be done in 15 minutes. Just mask what you wanna mask, sand what you wanna sand, then paint. It’s affordable and would be perfect for this bronco

@@ThisWeekWithCars This was one of Ford's "Better Ideas" back in the mid 70's and early 80's to deal with valve train and rocker noise. If memory serves me look at Motor Manual 1974-7 pg.1155. I agree there are other ways to "skin this cat" and yours is a novel idea and costs a heck of a lot less than a set of pushrods (about $85 from the dealer back in 1995). At the time, it fixed the valve train noise, for a student of mine, in a 1975 F150 with the 351W engine. By the way this was the fix for all ford V8's from that era.
