I'm from the east coast of America and I can say that getting to Sao Miguel is expensive and tourism rental is also expensive but after that everything else is much much cheaper than here. The food is also much better and makes me feel healthier.

Very informative video..as the Azores is not your typical island resort vacation..a car or some form of transportation is a must Just got back from Sao Miguel Island. After vacationing for 3 weeks there...in summary loved it...first time back in 30 yrs.. Will not be waiting that long to go back... Only issue i had was the xost of renting cars...insane prices I inquired about renting a 6 or 7 seat van...rental company wanted 4700.00 Euros..thsts nuts...i could buy a used car for that price.. i hope they don't drive tourists away with the greed from some people Anyway great video

voda z vodovodu na Azorských ostrovoch je takmer všade pitná (ak to nie je uvedené inak, alebo Vám nepovedia v domácnosti inak). Pracovné pozície - závisí od sezóny, počas leta najmä v službách - reštaurácie, kaviarne, bary +služby spojené s turizmom

Hello! There are some clubs in Ponta Delgada (but from my experience, it is not Ibiza or Mallorca, nothing huge!) but its pleasant, I would say! (Also in summer there are less students, more students usually come when the university starts :)

I didn't think the useful information I could get about Azores would be given by a... Slovakian girl. We plan to go to Azores next year (by the end of May), especially on Flores Island, but perhaps also to some other place. We've been to Madeira already, is it very different ? I guess you speak Portuguese, is it the same Portuguese as on the mainland ? Anyway we won't hike very much : too old, alas ! Rather resting and looking at the sea. BTW, were are you from in Slovakia ? I went to the Ukrainian border once, long ago, by car... I keep mixed memories about Košice, because my car was broke into, on the parking of the hotel... "the gypsies", as the receptionist told me... The cops had the same car as I had (Lada break), only a white one, while mine was red...

Ahoj, navštívil jsem Sao Miguel, Pico, Terceira a Graciosa. Mnohem lepší je Réunion, jsi v Evropě a máš mnohem prijemnejsi klima. Stačí se naučit francouzsky....

Ahoj! Réunion je taktiež unikátne miesto! (Cesta tam je trochu komplikovanejšia a ne ďalej, ale inak krasne) .. a samozrejme ovladať miestny jazyk je stále mega výhoda

@@noemimikleova Ta cesta na Reunión je ok, z Paříže léta nízkonákladové French bee, dá se sehnat zpáteční do 500€ - což není málo, ale když si spočítám cenu letenek na Azorech ( Sao Miguel, Pico, Terceira,Graciosa, Terceira, Sao Miguel) tak to taky nebylo levné. Reunion nabízí vše na jednom ostrově a autobusy jsou levné. Jídlo v obou destinacích je výborný a cenově podobné. Výhoda Azor je možnost kempovani, na Reuniónu se vyplatí kempování v přírodě, ofiko kempy tam jsou drahé a služby mizerné. Z Reunionu je možné navštívit Mauricius nebo Madagaskar, ceny letenek jsou podobné jako lety na Azorech. Pokud se na Reuniónu podaří vyřešit problém s dengue, tak je to opravdu ráj.

Working is not in my schedule in the foreseeable future either, it is a wonderful life. Want to mention that there are apps for bus services on some islands.
