This is day two and three putting the Himalayan through its paces in beautiful English countryside with Superior Motorcycle Experiences. If you've missed part one you can see that here first: • Royal Enfield Himalaya...
This trip was my first ride experience on the Royal Enfield Himalayan and what better place than down in Dorset, UK on a mini staycation adventure. There were some rather random moments in these days, including more amazing lunches, a mega trip to the beach, a dog doing it's business, more fords and water crossings, and me flashing my Kecks boxers [don't ask]. The Himalayan's continued to be fun, friendly and really manageable bikes with a low seat height, intimidating power and insanely comfortable ride. Experience it with me in my day one adventure. I was impressed how good they were in the water crossings too!
For reference I'm a female rider 169cm tall with 69cm inside leg.

You are better at power turns on the bike than off the bike. 4. Your eyelashes are absolutely fabulous. 5. If I didn't want a Himalayan before, I do now!

A 77 year old just bought one, it's only the second one that was an instant like from the start. Lowest break-in milage. is 84.6 mpg with the best at 94.1 mpg. Can not wait to get to home to watch Vannesa.

Fantastic 2 part insight into the Himalayan and it's fun capabilities. We are just starting a similar Himalayan adventure center in the mountains of southern Spain . First bike arriving this week and video going up tomorrow regarding plans. Great production Guys

The Himalayan is just such a fun and capable bike, let down entirely by the perception that it’s a nugget due to the spec sheet. I love mine. All it takes is to ride one and I bet any new or seasoned rider will just be beaming with smiles after that.
You nailed it down the river. Nice surroundings there in the UK. Plenty of room to play around. You could start your own ADV company. Your are a boss Vanessa 🤟

@@TheGirlOnABike and seem to be pretty reliable! There is a Dutch girl you might know, Itchy Boots, she did nearly 40k km riding across Asia and some Europe without major issues. Also Fort Nine had a video about cleanliness of the bikes an Royal Enfield was way up top with the results.
Slow bikes are fun, just a fact 👍

Your best video yet. 100% bang on. Everything was great good volume good music at the right level. On bike was really well done. You've got this nailed now. If I could ride again I would definitely buy the RE if you think it's good enough then it must be a hell of a bike. Keep up the good work work already looking forward to the next video.
Funnnily enough, test rode one of these last week. Pleasantly surprised, as a 60 y/o lifelong motorcyclist. Loved it, only thing better would be sticking a Bullet motor in one - chug chug even more ( i know impossible, Euro 5 blah blah). I dig the round headlight, the analogue clocks, the look of a proper motorcycle compared to the watercooled, digital dash, shrouded in plastic competition. May still buy one. Perfect for green laning and back roads.
Noraly of "Itchy Boots" had a lot of influence about the RE Himalayan and made it famous. She should had been sponsored by this company.

What a fantastic experience! That looked like a whole lot of fun :-) The Himalayan is pretty damn capable actually, especially considering the price! There may be "better" bikes but they won't give you a bigger smile. Thanks for sharing

A great trip. It all looks very genteel, a change from the usual burger, chips and beer kind of motorcycle events I'm used to. I'm booked on their Icons in Time tour in June so will find out for myself.

Hmmm post from phone vanished but like didn't. Now I've watched the whole video, what a fun three days. The little bike that could and leave change for travel and have affordable parts available. What a lot of people forget it's not the hardware but the riders software in, that Erin stated on her channel, quote: "ball of electrified mush" that we call a brain to have adventures. Royal Enfield is on a roll. It has alot in store for the next 12-24 months. The following models are up for launch - Classic Roadster Shotgun Hunter Sherpa Scram Flying Flea and An Electric Motorcyle Also BSA will be launching its 650cc motorcycle by the end of the year.

@@TheGirlOnABike Well the Scrambler 650 from RE sounds exciting, provided it loses 20kgs. But the most exciting news is BSA launching its 650cc in the UK by the end of the year. Hope it will be liquid cooled, produce 70-80bhp and can cruise 160-180kmph throughout the day. Just hope they don't follow Royal Enfields strategy and adopt Britain's A2 licensing norms and restrict the capability of the bike just like RE did to its 650 twins.

I know the fashion at the mo seems to be for humongous maxi-trail type ADVs but these look like the kind of thing I'd choose for a long, minimally or unsupported expedition. Another option would be the CRF350L Rally - essentially something so simple you could carry all the tools you need to strip it down, and that you could get parts for cheaply almost anywhere, & that has a long service interval. Something you could drop multiple times a day & feel like it's trivial to pick up. What's the tank size on these, I wonder, and is there a snorkel mod that could be done to make fording easier?

The suspension on the rough stuff looks like early 1970's ISDT footage.lol On the training course , a condesending " no worries" . I am guessing he hasn't seen Vanessa on a trials bike! That course was a mere doddle for that woman. The RE is possible one of the few ACTUAL adventure bikes. As a non highspeed ( ie illegal) tourer it appears to be an ideal, like a CB500x or a yammy t700.

Why you dont test the himalayan with the original MT60 tyres? I thing with the original tyres can be more real for us to know how the himalayan process this ride! By the way, excelent video

I'm not sure dude. That's the tyres the Superior Motorcycle Experiences have chosen to run. They are probably a better option for this terrain ❤️

i am a himalayan owner since 2018...This bike is not good for offroad...If u ride fast in bed roads chasis used break...chasis in the tank part

Is that what you new generation Brits call "Off Roading"? And with a gourmet chef catered meals?.. Really? Using your words, What a Bloody Joke!, LOL!. Those little under powered bikes may ok in India or on your small island with 3.2 curves per mile, and get nowhere fast, But they will not cut it here in the US. little girl.....
