🔱PART 2 of 65 YEARS at SEA. The Life of a Deep Sea Diver & Working on Board an ERRV
During his time as a deep sea diver, Alec was involved in the raising/salvaging of the Argentine Submarine, "Sante Fe" which was sunk by the Royal Navy during the Falkland's War plus the salvage of the first ever Harrier & Tornado aircraft ever built. Both of which crashed with loss of life.
Some of these dives were record breaking and involved equipment used for the first time.
