    Two more questions for you.....I've got the five bolts out of my pedal assembly and I don't want to break that green twisted cotter pin looking thing holding the brake switch in. What's the trick to getting that out to where it is resuable? Looks like once that is out the rest of it just falls apart. Also, any chance you can post a quick video showing what all of your completed wiring looks like on the new trans? I'm confused by what you mean by looping the pins together. As always, extremely helpful content.....wish you lived near NC bc I'd gladly pay you for your expertise on my 2003....haha

    diet sausage I don’t have time to make a video, I mean just that. Put the wires together for the Neutral safety switch. I believe 10-12 just connect them. That cotter pin is reusable. After it is out, side the booster arm off the brake pedal.

    That’s a good question. I’ve done 4 of these swaps and non of them had an adjustable pedal, I imagine you just have to give it up. The mounting Orientation should be the same. BUT Chris from ADTR.net would have a better answer for you

  • @neverendingcarproject

    @neverendingcarproject

    4 жыл бұрын

    K4rt80y yes. No difference, just need to jump 2 wires on the ECU. You also 100% need a tune. No way around it.

  • @jjrudawski1148

    @jjrudawski1148

    3 жыл бұрын

    I can confirm. on my 08 vic I needed a tune to have it run. With drive by wire you also need to jump two wires at your ecu. Ive forgotten the colors, but look up a wire diagram and bridge a wire between the crank sensor and impeller speed sensor. If the car doesnt read that those two are at the same speed when you start driving, it will force a shut down thinking the automatic trans is damaged (but its not there anymore) if you jump those two wires, they always read the same input speed.
